Nicola Peltz Beckham is hoping to build her profile in the UK and build a brand for her and husband Brooklyn Beckham with an appearance on a primetime BBC show.

The couple, who wed in April 2022, are currently based in the states but are keen to 'build their brand' and be known independently of Victoria Beckham and David Beckham. One move that is appealing to Nicola is to snag a role in a BBC primetime show, and one that is a huge pull for celebrities every year.

Nicola, who has had roles in Bates Motel and the film Transformers: Age of Extinction, is said to be considering stepping out on the Strictly Come Dancing dance floor.

An insider told The Sun: “Nicola is known in the US but over in the UK she’s at the bottom of the publicity pecking order in Brooklyn’s famous family. She has a team behind her who are keen on boosting her profile over here — and Brooklyn is right behind her."

The source added that Strictly has been seen as "the perfect show" for Nicola to feature on and that she hopes to build her profile alongside Brooklyn, and for them to be "known as a couple in their own right".

The source added: "Nicola’s genuinely got something about her, so has every hope of building on her own fame away from Brand Beckham — 2024 promises to be an exciting time for BNB."

The move comes after Nicola and Brooklyn spent Christmas with in-laws Victoria and David, as well as the rest of the Beckham clan. Despite Nicola and Victoria being adamant there's never been a fall out, the festive celebrations still had fans speculating over a possible 'feud' as they spotted clues between the pair.

After a cosy festive photograph was posted showing all of the Beckhams gathered together, fans have picked up the awkard body language between Victoria and her son Brooklyn's wife, as Victoria poses with her hand in her pocket instead of around Nicola.

The rumours of a feud between the pair have been swirling since Nicola and Brooklyn married in April last year. Reports had initially suggested the pair were at war over Nicola’s wedding dress, after she wore a custom Valentino gown instead of one designer by her mother-in-law. Both Nicola and Victoria, 49, have refuted reports of bad blood between the two, with Nicola insisting the rumours over a dress fall out weren't true.

Speaking to Variety last summer, Nicola said the dress decision came down to logistics and nothing else. "I was going to [wear Victoria Beckham] and I really wanted to, and then a few months down the line, she realised that her atelier couldn't do it, so then I had to pick another dress. She didn't say you can't wear it; I didn't say I didn't want to wear it.

"That's where it started, and then they ran with that." In the same article, Brooklyn added: "I've learned they're always going to try to write stuff like that. They're always going to try and put people down. But everyone gets along, which is good."
