Liverpool fans were left laughing after Curtis Jones produced a sublime piece of skill on Ben White during the Reds' FA Cup third round tie against Arsenal on Sunday.

The incident occured in the 33rd minute when Jones outmuscled White off the ball near the corner flag. Jones then tried to scoop the ball past White and run around the other side. The Arsenal right-back was having none of it though, as the Liverpool midfielder was sent crashing to the floor.

Jurgen Klopp's men were awarded a free-kick for the foul on Jones in a dangerous position. However, Trent Alexander-Arnold's delivery flew over the bar and didn't trouble goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale.

Shortly after White's foul on Jones, Liverpool fans flooded social media to have their say on the moment. One said: "Curtis Jones hahahahaha he's made a mockery of Ben White there." Another added: "Ben White being muscled of the ball by Curtis Jones." A third claimed: "Curtis Jones just RINSED Ben White ahahaha."

Arsenal dominated the first half at the Emirates but couldn't find the all-important breakthrough. Kai Havertz, Martin Odegaard and Bukayo Saka were all guilty of missing excellent chances, while Reiss Nelson had the best of the lot as he ran through with just Alisson to beat before firing wide.

Liverpool failed to match their opponents during the opening 45 minutes and pundit Danny Murphy admitted: " I think they have struggled with the intensity of Arsenal and their quality. Some of the Liverpool players have struggled with that and I am sure Jurgen (Klopp) will be really disappointed.

"I think he will make one or two changes, I can imagine we will see (Ryan) Gravenberch coming on for some legs and some energy. To be fair to (Alexis) MacAllister, he has not played for over a month, and you can tell a little bit. They need to pick up quickly because they are very lucky to still be in the game."
