Kerry Katona has shared her joy after losing a substantial amount of weight after having shared recently that she once felt stuck in a cycle of "self-loathing and emotional eating".

The reality TV star, 43, has previously spoken about having lost weight, saying that she now feels more confident. Kerry - who is behind the fitness platform M-FIT with her fiancé Ryan Mahoney - is said to have dropped four dress sizes.

She has posted about her experience on social media, including having shared footage from workouts. Kerry, who it was recently reported weighed just under 10 stone, shared an update with her followers on Sunday afternoon.

Kerry shared the update on Instagram this weekend, with her having teased that she's continuing to lose weight. She posted a photo that showed someone, believed to be her, standing on a set of scales, with 9 stone 11 lbs on the display.

Alongside the photo, she promoted her brand M-FIT and teased that she's lost 3 stone and 6 lbs since she weighed just over 13 stone. She wrote in the caption: "@mfitofficial woohoo!!! From 13'3 come join me!!!!! Link in my bio." The post has amassed more than 5,000 likes since it was uploaded this weekend. It prompted a reaction from some of her followers, with a number of people taking to the comments section to congratulate Kerry on her efforts.

Kerry has spoken about her weight loss recently, including her having told OK! magazine that she had been in a "rut of self-loathing and emotional eating". She said "something needed to change" for her to "feel better" within herself. It was shared in the interview that Kerry has been calorie counting, exercising and doing MFIT workouts, as well as some weight training. She also told the outlet that she does yoga every morning and said she now wants to "look toned".

The former Atomic Kitten member said that she's reduced her portion sizes and changed her diet, including having given up "a lot of carbs" and cutting out bread. She added that tuna and rice with pesto is another of her snacks now. Kerry said: "It's not rocket science, you eat s***, you look s***." She said her weight was "affecting her mood," adding: "I had to get to the best version of myself. I don't lose weight for anyone but me and I'm happy when I'm fit and healthy."
