The Masked Singer theories as viewers rumble Owl and Eiffel Tower's identities
The latest installment of The Masked Singer left ITV viewers pondering a whole host of 'Who's behind the mask?' theories, believing they have 'rumbled' every contestant from week two.
Saturday's show saw Chicken Caesar unmasked as Pointless host Alexander Armstrong after he found himself in the bottom three with Bubble Tea and Owl. Panellists Davina McCall, Jonathan Ross and Mo Gilligan were tasked with trying to work out the identity of five other new characters alongside guest Charlie Simpson, whilst Rita Ora returned for the weekend too.
Host Joel Dommett opened proceedings as always, after previously enthusing: "Honestly, they are the best costumes ever. If they don’t make you smile, well, get out! Air Fryer is unbelievably silly. It's so liberating to be a part of a show where first of all, people really enjoy it and also from my point of view, any idea I have, it's fair game. Even when it comes to the suits!"
Owl
Owl went against Eiffel Tower before dropping a collection of clues. Owl provided a lot of hints involving football, and at one point used tangerines as a clue. Taking to Twitter, now X, viewers are convinced Owl is Lorraine Kelly due to the character having a Scottish accent. Also, Lorraine's, 64, favourite football team is Dundee United, who wear a tangerine orange uniform.
One person said: "Owl = Lorraine Kelly #MaskedSingerUK", a different account said: "Owl just sounds like Lorraine Kelly #MaskedSingerUK", and another viewer wrote: "Best #MaskedSingerUK of 2024 Tangerines big clue. Lorraine Kelly". A third added: "The Owl sounded so much like Lorraine Kelly #MaskedSingerUK" whilst a fourth commented: "#MaskedSingerUK Lorraine Kelly loves Dundee Football Club, clue was tangerines their nickname."

Eiffel Tower went against Owl before dropping a slew of clues including various clips filmed around London, including The Old Vic and Abbey Road. It also featured a text, saying: "Just landed in the City" from Mr Big. Taking to Twitter, now X, viewers were quick to predict it could be Kim Cattrall.
Kim, 67, who was born in Liverpool, played Samantha Jones in Sex and the City. In new series, And Just Like That..., her character Samantha is based in London and communicates on the show with fellow character Carrie Bradshaw, played by Sarah Jessica Parker, via text. Kim has also performed in The Old Vic before and due to being born in Liverpool, this could be linked to the Abbey Road clue.
One fan said: "#MaskedSingerUK Eiffel Tower is surely Kim Cattrall?" Another account wrote: "#MaskedSinger #TheMaskedSinger #MaskedSingerUK Kim Cattrall." A third viewer asked: "Could Eiffel Tower be Kim Cattrall? #MaskedSingerUK", whilst a fourth added: "Kim Cattrall was in sex & the city, some of that was filmed in Paris & Samantha & Carrie have been texting because Samantha is in London that must be who is in Eiffel Tower #MaskedSingerUK."
Air Fryer
Air Fryer went up against Bubble Tea, before dropping a collection of clues which appeared to hint at a judging role on television, as well as sparkles, which the judges pointed out could be a link to Strictly Come Dancing. Taking X, viewers were convinced the character could be Alison Hammond as the This Morning star is a judge on The Great British Bake Off.
Alison, 48, also appeared on Strictly in 2014 and The Masked Singer: I'm a Celebrity Special in 2022. One viewer declared: "I think #Airfryer is Alison Hammond #MaskedSingerUK #MaskedSinger @MaskedSingerUK. Another account wrote: "I'm saying Airfryer is Alison Hammond #maskedsingeruk." A third viewer viewer wrote: "Airfryer is Alison Hammond? #MaskedSingerUK." And a fourth fan added: "#maskedsingeruk air fryer Alison Hammond? @AlisonHammond."
Bubble Tea
Bubble Tea came up against Air Fryer and dropped a collection of clues including that they were a bubbly person, as well as referring to The Inbetweeners, and providing hints of a village and a lamb. Taking to X, viewers were convinced Emily Atack was behind the mask. Fans will recall that Emily, 34, soared to fame on The Inbetweeners as Charlotte Hinchcliffe and suffered an unfortunate This Morning lamb blunder back in 2019.
However, other viewers were quick to point out Emily was too obvious and instead speculated it could be Emily Head, who starred as Carli D'Amato on The Inbetweeners too. Emily, 35, also starred as Rebecca White on Emmerdale from 2016 to 2018, linking the lamb and village clues.
One person said: "People think #BubbleTea is Emily Atack, but I think it might be @emily_head.... she was in the In Betweeners, she was also in Emmerdale and I'm pretty sure Rebecca (her character in EDale) was an influencer.... #MaskedSingerUK. Another account wrote: "Bubble Tea change I think Emily Head (Carly from Inbetweeners) #MaskedSingerUK."
Elsewhere, a third fan speculated: "Bubble Tea, Emily Head #MaskedSingerUK", a different account put: "Bubble Tea, Emily Head? #MaskedSingerUK". And a fourth fan wrote: "Bubble Tea: I think Emily Atack based on clues may be too obvious, it said Emily on there and I don't think it'd be so obvious."
Piranha
Piranha was up against now departed Chicken Caesar, and dropped a series of clues before leaving the judges speechless with their incredible performance. Taking to X, viewers were adamant the character is McFly star Danny Jones.
