Pete Doherty's son Astile looked exactly like Liam Gallagher as he launched a new career.

Astile, 20, who Pete shares with Lisa Moorish looked every inch like Liam as he took to the stage at a pub in Leigh-on-Sea on Friday to entertain punters kicking back after a week in work. On Thursday, the Boat Yard took to social media to announce that Astile, featuring Ria Currie, will deliver tracks from Liam and Oasis' back catalogue.

The budding star took to the stage wearing a pair of tinted orange glasses and a parka coat before shaking a tambourine, much like the Manchester-born rockstar.

Treating viewers, the pair performed renditions of the northern bands hit Wonderwall as well as Shakermaker and Hello – much to everyone's delight. But the venue was very familiar to Astile who works behind the bar of the boozer. But in true Liam style, he went on to mimic his stance while singing and even put on a Manchester accent, according to the MailOnline.

Between tracks, Astile interacted with the audience, including a string of explicit words, similar to that of Liam, all while sipping on a pint before getting back into a song. The act which is dubbed Liam On Sea even had crowds on their feet while dancing away to some of the iconic tracks.

In November, Astile took to Instagram to share a glimpse of his new career. Holding a tambourine, he captioned his snap: "We're gonna f***in wake the neighbours up. We're being so loud," to which his sister, Molly Moorish Gallagher responded: "I wonder what you're singing."

Although, unbeknownst to those who may have been passing by, Astile is somewhat related to the northern rocker. His mum, Lisa, had a brief relationship with Liam. On March 26, 1998, she welcomed her daughter Molly, the daughter of Liam, who was conceived after he had married Patsy Kensit.

Over the years, Astile's relationship with his dad had been somewhat complicated as he was banned from seeing his father duAstile looked the spitting image of rocker Liame to his drug habit. But after spending time in rehab and becoming clean, Lisa stated in 2009: "When he came out of rehab last year and started to get his life in order I thought the time was right, I want Astile to have a dad."

However, Liam and Pete have been at loggerheads for several years. In 2017, Babyshambles musician Drew McConnell left the group fronted by Doherty, causing him to say he had experienced "stressification on the band front" after McConnell joined Liam's backing band.

Months later, Liam took a swipe at Pete, he told Music Week: "He’s not a rock star though is he? I don't know what he is, but he shied away from all that. There's a lot of people that think 'rock star' is a dirty word these days. 'Ooh, I'm not rock n' roll, I'm a poet. F**k off mate, when you joined a band when you were 17/18, you wanted to be like Keith Moon or Keith Richards."
