A Place In The Sun's Danni Menzies 'scarred for life' after romp with actor
A Place In The Sun star Danni Menzies has candidly confessed that an awkward sexual encounter with a former flame has left her "scarred for life."
The former presenter of the Channel 4 property show, who quit in 2022 after six years, had been dating an actor when the "awkward" incident occurred. Danni, 35, had appeared on MTV's Celeb Ex in the City back in 2021 when she revealed that she too had a weird date when asked about her dating experiences. Speaking about the time she was left mortified during a romp with her beau at the time, she confessed: "I’ve only got one thing going through my head. This is awful."

So the first time that somebody told me that they loved me was when they were, they were an actor and they were very dramatic, and they were about to come and they went ‘I, I, I, I love you’." Unwilling to reveal the identity of the mystery man, she added: "It’s literally scarred me for life. And now I can’t ever get that out of my head." Danni claimed that she quit the popular show as it was starting to affect her love life during an interview with The Sun.
She explained: "It's really hard to get a boyfriend when you're travelling and living out of a suitcase all the time." And when asked about the scheduling demands of the show, she added: "It's like half of the year pretty much, but it's broken up so you'd do three weeks away, two weeks back, a week away, a week back. It was really random. It didn't really leave enough times to experience many other things. I'd go on two dates with someone and be gone for three weeks. That wasn't working. And I missed my dog, I missed my dog so much."
Back in August last year, Danni's social media followers were left excited that she may have found love after she shared a number of pictures of her playing Monopoly with a topless man during a holiday in Spain. But she was quick to quash speculation as she claimed at the time, that the man in her pictures was just a friend.

She wrote: "Everyone thinks you're on [holiday] with your [boyfriend] but actually you're just stranded with your bestie that wants a new Bumble pic." A month earlier, the rumour mill went into full drive after she reportedly checked into the Charisma Concept Hotel in Mykonos with Love Island star Jay Younger.
But any chance of a blossoming relationship soon took a turn for the worse as they both unfollowed each other on Instagram. Speaking at the time, Danni said that she'd been on five dates and confirmed her single status, saying: "I just want a man and a country house."
To celebrate her 35th year, Danni nearly caused the internet to crash after a friend posted a nude snap of the presenter for all her fans to see. The snap showed Danni completely naked with only an iron and an arm to cover her modesty. He friend captioned the picture saying: "Happy birthday to the hottest nudie I know."
