Harry and Meghan 'rebuild what family looks like' with huge move amid Royal feud

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are "rebuilding what family looks like" with a huge move amid their ongoing feud with the Royal Family.

Earlier this week, reports emerged that Meghan's yoga-teacher mother, Doria, 67, recently moved onto the grounds of Harry and Meghan's mansion in Montecito. According to reports, the doting grandmother of Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet has moved into the Sussexes' guesthouse to help the pair through "tough times".

And now it has been claimed that this unexpected move shows that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are "rebuilding what family looks like" as the Royal rift continues following the couple stepping down as senior working royals in 2020 and moving to America. This also follows on from them speaking out in bombshell interviews, memoirs, and documentaries.

"Meghan and Harry's decision to have Meghan's mother move in with them reflects the couple's intimate bond," senior therapist and relationship expert Sally Baker from Working On The Body exclusively revealed to The Mirror. She noted that their relationship is clearly "solid enough to welcome close family into the inner sanctum".

Sally added: "Far from a sign of crisis, inviting a trusted relative into the home often signals strength in a relationship. High-profile couples face amplified scrutiny, so relying on paid staff may seem safer than giving family access. But blood bonds can provide an unconditional foundation."

The expert then touched on how the couple has "weathered betrayals from Harry's kin", which has led to Meghan likely feeling "profound comfort in her mother's presence". She went on: "Where links to royalty-bred toxicity, this maternal tie offers the shelter of implicit trust.

"Beyond practical assistance, Meghan's mother represents a connection to identity and history. She knows Meghan's past and understands her dreams and wounds. This lifelong resonance brings a unique emotional connection."

Concluding her expert analysis of the couple's huge move, she added: "Meghan's mother, Doria Ragland, new role affirms family life is about more than performing an obligation but sharing tender humanity. After fractures with their birth families, Meghan and Harry rebuild what family looks like and means to them on their terms.

"Including Meghan's mother in their home, they plant seeds of found family honouring heritage and self-determination."
