A pair of neo-nazi podcasters have received a 15-year jail sentence, ending their 21-episode series called Black Wolf Radio after the pair called for violence against Prince Harry and his young son.

Christopher Gibbons, 40, and Tyrone Patten-Walsh, 36, received their prison sentences today after the judge called them “dedicated and unapologetic white supremacists" who encouraged terrorism.

In the episode that got them the lengthy jail sentence, Gibbons said the Duke of Sussex should be "prosecuted and judicially killed for treason" after marrying Meghan Markle and called Harry's son, Archie, a four-year-old, a "creature" that "should be put down."

The two made racist, antisemitic, Islamophobic, homophobic and misogynistic statements throughout the series, and were arrested after encouraging people to commit violent acts towards minorities.

Gibbons got eight years in prison and three years of probation while his pal Patten-Walsh was sentenced to seven years, also getting three years of probation.

The two delivered sermons on how "the white race was likely to be ‘genocided unless steps were taken to fight back' - otherwise known as the ' replacement theory ' - which is a popular view amongst the far-right. Thus, they declared anyone in an interracial relationship a "race traitor."

“The evidence demonstrates that you desire to live in a world dominated by white people purely for white people. Your distorted thinking is that the white race has ceded too much influence to Blacks and Asians, to Jews and Muslims, to gays, to white liberals and to white people in mixed-race relationships,” Judge Peter Lodder said as he handed down the sentence.

Lodder added that, while they were entitled to their beliefs, “as preposterous as they are offensive to a civilized society," the two had gone too far in advocating for violence.

The pair praised the murder of Labour MP Jo Cox in 2016 and Brenton Tarrant's 2019 attack in Christchurch, New Zealand, where 51 people were killed at two mosques. They also said vile things about the Manchester Arena bombing victims. They also posted an image of a Nazi executing a Jewish man at the edge of a pit of corpses and Nelson Mandela being lynched.

The Met's Counter Terrorism Command discovered Gibbons had made an online "Radicalisation Library" with over 500 videos of extreme right-wing content. This library had nearly 2,000 subscribers and was viewed more than 152,000 times.

Some of this material was against terrorism laws. The Metropolitan Police arrested them in May 2021 and charged them with eight terrorism offences in August that year. Cmdr. Dominic Murphy, who heads the Met’s counter-terrorism unit, said the content that these two were posting “is exactly the kind that has the potential to draw vulnerable people — particularly young people — into terrorism.”

"We are determined to identify and hold to account individuals pushing this material. In this case, officers reviewed hours-upon-hours of material to present a compelling case. I hope this case and today's sentencing sends a clear message that there are serious consequences for those who share terrorist material or encourage others to become involved in terrorism."
