Kim Cattrall shares heartache as she says 'rest peacefully' in moving tribute
Kim Cattrall has shared a moving tribute to her late brother Chris, on what would have been his 61st birthday.
Former Sex and the City actress Kim, who was born in Liverpool, took to her Instagram on Tuesday to honour her younger sibling who was tragically found dead in 2018, at aged 55. The Cattrall family initially believed Chris had gone missing, only to heartbreakingly learn he had taken his own life at his home in Alberta, Canada.
Kim, who has 1.4 million followers on the social media platform, shared a snap of Chris knelt in a park enjoying time with his three daschund breed dogs. She captioned the image: "Rest peacefully & sweetly on your birthday, dear brother. #ChrisCattrall 1/2/1963 - 2/4/2018."
Touched by her post, scores of Kim's followers wished her well in response, with one commenting: He lives in you and gives you strength. I wish you comfort, bravery, and plenty of love in this time of sadness. A big hug for you!" Another added: "Happy Heavenly Birthday to your Brother. Sending you and your family my Prayers and Condolences."
A third wrote: "May there be peace and comfort in your heart, Kim, I leave here all my love, and I am sure that he is rejoicing and illuminating heaven, as he has always done here in this world." And a fourth said: "The loss of a sibling is so hard. Prayers to you and your family."

At this time we ask for privacy. We want to thank you all on social media for your outpouring of love and support in this trying time."
It prompted Kim's former pal and co-star Sarah Jessica Parker to reveal she would be sending her own condolences. Kim, 67, then accused her of seeking attention, however, writing: "Your continuous reaching out is a painful reminder of how cruel you really were then and now."
She continued: "Let me make this VERY clear. (If I haven’t already) You are not my family. You are not my friend. So I’m writing to tell you one last time to stop exploiting our tragedy in order to restore your 'nice girl' persona." Kim and Sarah Jessica reportedly fell out in 2008 amid tensions over their salaries - with the latter earning significantly more after being given an executive producer title for work on Sex and the City.
