We all know that the Dyson Airwrap is one of the best hair tools out there, but its usual hefty price tag of £479.99 is enough to put anyone off.

To treat its shoppers for the New Year, Boots has launched its huge January sale with up to 50 per cent off beauty, fragrance and electrical items - including slashing £100 off the popular Dyson Multi-Styler.

The most awarded hair multi-styler is now priced at £379.99 down from £479.99 for a limited time only - so it’s the perfect time to try out some new hairstyles for 2024.

This must-have tool comes with six seperate attachments to recreate every hair style for every hair type. Best of all? You don’t even have to dry your hair before using the clever styler as it works on damp hair and does all the hard work for you.

The impressive Airwrap is a wet to dry styler that can straighten, curl and dry your hair all at once and you can choose one of the AirWrap barrels or brushes to complete your chosen look.

By using the 30mm barrel, you can create tighter, voluminous curls or waves, but for a more casual ‘beachy’ look, we suggest going for the 40mm barrel.

For a more relaxed look, try the firm smoothing brush to create a straighter style while minimising frizz and flyaways. The soft smoothing brush is perfect for creating a smooth, professional-looking blow-dry finish that's gentle on their scalp.

It even has an intelligent sensor that measures the air temperature over 40 times a second, so the heat is carefully maintained to prevent the effects of extreme heat for compromise-free drying and styling.

With almost 2000 five-star reviews, it's not hard to see why the hair tool is so popular amongst beauty fans. One delighted customer said: "Fantastic hairdryer, great value for money, leaves hair so soft, previously had shark hairdryer, Dyson beats this hands down."

A second added: "Absolutely love it! Expensive but well worth the money easy to use amazing results wish I had got one years ago."

While a third wrote: "One of the best beauty investments I’ve ever made. It doesn’t dry my hair up regardless how long I dry and style my hair unlike my previous dryer. Yes, it’s on the expensive side, but if you use it on daily basis, you’ll get the most bang for your buck."

However, not everyone was left impressed with one shopper saying: "Curls did not hold for longer than 10 minutes after multiple attempts. Would not recommend for the money."

"Ok so ...Worth the money? unfortunately not. The dryer is good and the brush attachment is good however the curls just drop out. Pretty unhappy. I have an electric brush with a few different sizes that was under 40 pounds and it's just as good," said another.

Now we know that £379.99 is still a lot of money to spend on just one device, so if you're after a cheaper alternative that's 'just as good' according to reviews, we suggest opting for this Revlon One-Step Blow-Dry Multi Styler priced at £69.99.
