Fleur East's Strictly partner Vito's adorable response to pregnancy news
Fleur East's Strictly Come Dancing partner Vito Coppola was over the moon when he saw her pregnancy announcement.
The singer, 36, was partnered with professional dancer Vito in 2022. Wildlife presenter Hamza Yassin and Jowita Przystał were announced as the winners while Fleur and Vito, Molly Rainford and Carlos Gu, and Helen Skelton and Gorka Márquez were the runners-up.
Fleur sent friends and fans into a frenzy when she rang in the new year by announcing her pregnancy. Taking to Instagram, the former X Factor star shared a lovely picture of herself cradling her huge bump and told her 822,000 followers: "2024 is gonna be different..."
She is welcoming her first child with her husband, French fashion designer Marcel Badiane-Robin. One of the many excited comments under the pregnancy announcement was from none other than her former dance partner Vito. The 31-year-old commented: "Yessssss.
"OMG. I cannot waaaaaait to be baaaaaack. Congratulations guyssss @fleureast @marcel__robin Mamma miaaa. Bellissimoooooo. I will be a good uncle..." Many other stars also congratulated her on the exciting news, such as Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Johannes Radebe and more.
Greggs, Costa & Pret coffees have 'huge differences in caffeine', says reportLeigh-Anne said: "Congrats beauty," while Johannes posted: "Congratulations to the both of you. This is wonderful." I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! winner Sam Thompson added: "Fleur!! Congratulations!" and Ellie Leach commented: "OMG !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so so so so happy for you."
Meanwhile, Fleur recently shared a picture of herself relaxing by the pool as she told fans: "Getting in all the chill time I can..." Fleur and her husband first met in a bar in 2009 where Marcel was working as a waiter. The pair reconnected a year later and tied the knot in Morocco in 2019. Speaking last month, Fleur admitted some of the exit interviews on Strictly: It Takes Two left her feeling emotional.
The pregnant star, who competed on the main show in 2022 and began hosting the spin-off show last year, told the Mirror: "I always talk to whoever is eliminated, I always get emotional and immediately, I sense their energy so it depends on how sad they are in the moment. Krishnan Guru-Murthy really moved me with his exit, he was very emotional."
"I can't imagine what it would feel like to go out midway and you know not have not completed like the thrilling experience. I really identify with them in that way and I have to hold it back because I've got to host the rest of the shows I can't even really allow myself to get too emotional."
When Fleur isn't on It Takes Two, she's busy presenting Hits Radio. The pregnant star first rose to fame when she appeared on The X Factor in 2024, eventually finishing in second place behind Ben Haenow as the eleventh series of the now-defunct ITV talent show ended.
