Christmas has been and gone and the January blues will be starting to set in for many. But if you were lucky enough to get some cash for Christmas then the new year can be the perfect time to snap up a bargain.

One of the best out there at the minute is surely this huge "limited time deal" from Amazon, which sees a Ninja Foodie Dual Zone Digital Air Fryer down to £139, a big 37% saving on the £219.99 RRP. That's slightly less than buying it directly from Ninja, where it's priced at £149.99.

Ninja gadgets have boomed in popularity over the last couple of years as home cooks hop on board the air fryer revolution.

This particular model is great for families as it has a 7.6L capacity and can cook four to six portions. The baskets are also dishwasher safe making cleaning up after cooking nice and simple.

With energy bills at abnormally high levels, air fryers have really taken off as households look to reduce their usage and save money where they can. Ninja says this air fryer could save you "up to 75%" on energy when compared with cooking in an oven.

The Dual Zone Air Fryer has two baskets and six cooking functions, meaning you can cook more than one thing at once and on a different setting. There have been almost 25,000 reviews left on the product, with an average rating of 4.8 stars out of five - with 89% awarding five stars.

One said: "The best thing about this product is that it pays for itself through energy savings. Since getting this Ninja my deep fat fryer is now obsolete, my grill is almost obsolete and my oven hasn't been used since.

"This product cooks great chips but one does have to learn a little first."

Another added: "Absolutely love it. Haven't used the oven since. Cooks pretty much anything. The food is tastier and cooks much more quickly than other methods. And when you've finished you find the fat that has drained off the food which previously you'd have eaten! Easy to clean by wiping down or the trays are actually dishwasher safe."

Just 2% of reviewers gave the product one star, with some users saying it didn't cook chips to their liking and others complaining about faults that developed. If you don't need a big air fryer and wouldn't get enough use out of a dual air fryer then there are other products that are quite a bit cheaper.

This Russell Hobbs 4L Rapid Digital Air Fryer has less capacity but is significantly less expensive at £42, thanks to a 56% discount on Amazon. Argos also has a number of deals on air fryers, including the Instant 3.8L Air Fryer which is at its "lowest price ever" of £30.
