Female BBC Sport presenter exposes creepy messages from 'horny' fans

BBC Sport presenter Emma Jones has exposed more creepy messages she's been sent by fans in a cheeky video.

Jones has regularly used her social media channels to highlight sexist and inappropriate messages that land in her inbox. Now, the situation has become so bad that she's created her own video - starting her own "DM helpline".

In the funny skit, shared on TikTok, she pretends to chat with 'Roger', a fan who's taken things a bit too far. She says: "You sent a message to a woman on the internet and she hasn't replied? Right ok, well you're in the right place Roger. What did the message say?"

The message then appears on screen, reading: "Av u got webcam. Wud luv to see your jubblies." Emma responds: "Webcam? When was the last time you used a web cam Roger?" He replies: "'It's come in handy over the years'?"

"Ok, not the point, the point is it's deeply inappropriate to tell a woman on the internet you'd like to see her jubblies in an opening message. I'd always advise our callers to open up with a question Roger. Oh you did ask a question?"

"Wud u shake them on cam for me," read the next message on screen. "Yeah not really the question I had in mind to be honest with you Roger," joked Jones.

"I was thinking more along the lines of 'hi, how are you? What are you up to this week?'. Yeah I know you want to see her jubblies Roger but I'm guessing she hasn't shaken them for you on web cam after those messages? I thought not."

"Listen Roger my advice to you would be throw your web cam away and stop being so horny in your opening messages. Alright thanks Roger, happy New Year, stop being so horny. Take care, bye bye."

Uploading the clip to her social media pages, Jones captioned the post: "It's been a busy time of year on the DM helpline. Here's to a less horny 2024."

One commentator on the clip said: "Been on this planet several years now and it still boggles me mind how some men think stuff like that is acceptable. Fair play for calling them out like this though."

Another remarked: "This is funny but also sad that men think this is normal behaviour!"
