Love Island's Laura Anderson and her ex-partner Gary Lucy have sparked rumours that they're back together after sharing a passionate New Year's Eve kiss.

The pair, who split in early 2023, spent the festive period together with their baby daughter Bonnie. Laura, 34, and former Hollyoaks actor Gary, 41, were seen locking lips in a video shared on Instagram, following a lavish NYE dinner at London's Gilgamesh restaurant. Gary even chose the Jack Johnson track 'Better Together' as the soundtrack to the video, captioning it "Happy 2024 MOFOS".

The couple first got together in summer 2022 after meeting on Celebs Go Dating. Despite splitting up shortly after Laura announced her pregnancy, Gary was by her side when she gave birth to Bonnie on 2 September last year. Laura recently told OK! magazine: "I don't feel like I could have done it without Gary there".

Laura has denied rumours of a reunion, but fans were hopeful after she posted a photo of the three of them in matching Christmas pyjamas. She also shared a video of Bonnie sleeping in her dad's arms with the caption "It's all too much", as Love Actually played in the background.

On Boxing Day, Laura revealed they were off on a trip, possibly to London for the second part of their holiday. She posted a New Year's Eve video of herself toasting with a glass of fizz, before filming Bonnie bouncing on her dad's knee.

In a 2023 interview with Closer magazine, Laura said she wasn't focusing on romance with Gary, but on being the best co-parents to Bonnie. "It's going to be a journey as she's only a baby and this is all new to me, but I try to include Gary as much as I can," she said.

Discussing their co-parenting arrangement while living in Glasgow and Essex, Laura said Gary could "come here whenever he wants to see her and I'm taking the lead from him."

She added: "I want them to have a bond and I want him to witness all the changes, the smiles and the little giggles because time just goes so fast." She went on to say: "We've not fully worked it out yet and I imagine it'll be easier to schedule things when Bonnie's a bit older. But for now, if I come down to London for work, I always tell him so he can see her."
