Woman fighting for life after hit-and-run crash while she was pushing pram
A woman pushing a pram is fighting for her life after being hit in a hit-and-run crash.
The victim, in her 30s, was struck by a car in Southall, West London, yesterday afternoon.
Thankfully her baby wasn't hurt, but she is in a life-threatening condition in hospital, the Met Police said in a statement today.
Detectives have appealed for information to help trace the driver.
The crash happened shortly before 12.30pm. Police have not said what type of car was involved.

A statement released by the Met today said: "Officers are appealing for witnesses after a woman was seriously injured in a fail-to-stop collision in Southall.
"Police were called at 12:29hrs on Friday, 3 February, to reports of a collision involving a car and a pedestrian at the junction of North Hyde Lane and Raleigh Road.
"The pedestrian, a woman aged in her 30s who was pushing a pram at the time, was taken to hospital. She remains in a life-threatening condition and her next of kin have been informed. The baby wasn't injured.
"The driver of the car failed to stop at the scene and enquiries are taking place to locate them."
The case is being investigated by the Met's Serious Collision Investigation Unit.
