The Reds will take a three-week break from league action after the Newcastle match, but that doesn't mean they'll ample time to get business done. A huge FA Cup tie at Arsenal awaits them on January 7, before the home leg of their League Cup tie with Fulham.

Reds could be boosted by Solanke

Dominic Solanke has 12 Premier League goals this season and has attracted interest from the likes of Arsenal.

And according to the Liverpool Echo, a big money move from Bournemouth will actually benefit Liverpool. As will as the £19million fee the Cherries paid back in 2019, sporting director Michael Edwards negotiated a 20 per cent sell-on clause.

It means that should the 26-year-old earn a big move, the Reds will potentially net millions. Solanke only managed 27 appearances in all competitions for the Merseyside club, scoring just once.
