Kate Ferdinand shows off hourglass figure on sun-soaked holiday with husband Rio
Kate Ferdinand showed off her hourglass figure as she enjoyed a sun-soaked festive holiday with husband Rio Ferdinand.
The 32-year-old, who is mum to son Cree, two, and daughter Shea, five months, jetted off to the Maldives for a lavish holiday with her blended family to celebrate the festive season. Kate made her followers green with envy as she shared snaps of the expensive trip on Instagram, and called the tropical location “paradise”.
The former The Only Way Is Essex star revealed her three step children Lorenz, 17, Tate, 14, and Tia, 12 - Rio’s kids from his marriage to late wife Rebecca - were also involved in all the activities, with the teenagers captured sweetly playing with their younger siblings Cree and Shea. However, it was Kate’s stunning bikini snap that captured the attention of her followers.
She paired the blue two-piece, which accentuated her curves, with gold jewellery, sunglasses and a Loewe fedora. Husband Rio, 45, posed proudly next to his wife in a pair of swimming shorts and Ray Ban sunglasses, as the happy couple beamed at the camera. “Two babies… how? You look wonderful,” one fan commented. “You look INCREDIBLE!!!” another gushed.
“Looking trim @xkateferdinand you’ve worked hard,” one follower wrote, as one loyal fan agreed: “You look insane.” Kate has previously spoken about her intense workout regime, which she resumed after welcoming daughter Shea earlier this year. In an interview on Vicky Pattison’s podcast, the former reality star said she does daily high-intensity workouts at her and Rio’s home gym.
Rio Ferdinand delivers verdict on Marcel Sabitzer transfer with no hesitation“I've always been into my workouts, I love working out. I do like to look good, I'm not going to lie, but also mentally my life is so manic that that hour in the morning just calms me,” she explained. “I'm on a whole new thing though. I have started looking after my body from the inside. I feel like everyone always wants to go to the gym, and get their hair done and look good but I have started trying to take care internally - and I feel like that might be helping.”
Kate’s holiday post in paradise comes just after she recalled her childhood Christmases during the Prince and Princess of Wales’ ITV show, Royal Carols: Together At Christmas. She revealed her husband’s big family has helped her enjoy the festive season more as she grew up as an only child, and when she got together with Rio, she was “surrounded by kids”.
Kate continued: “I was an only child and I lived with just me and my mum. But that's why I just love being surrounded by so many kids. Rio's got a massive family, so this Christmas that we have now, is probably the Christmas like I always dreamed of!”
