Players urged to 'look everywhere' as £500k prize remains unclaimed
The National Lottery has urged players to check their tickets after a Thunderball prize of £500,000 remains unclaimed.
The lucky punter purchased the ticket in Redditch - but is yet to come forward since the draw took place on December 8.
Camelot confirmed the winning numbers as 2, 15, 31, 35, 37 and the Thunderball was 6. The person has until June 5, 2024, to claim the huge sum.
A spokesperson for the National Lottery said: “If you bought a Thunderball ticket in Redditch for the draw on December 8, it’s time to look everywhere - in the pockets of clothes you might have been wearing at the time, bags, in the car, wallets and purses and in that sideboard or drawer where we all tend to put bits and pieces - and check your tickets.
“Do you live or work in this area, do you have family and friends there who you were visiting, were you just passing through or were you hitting the town for your work Christmas party?
“We’re desperate to find this mystery ticket-holder and pay out their life-changing prize - imagine the possibilities for them, especially with Christmas now only a matter of days away! We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their win.”
