Lorraine Kelly served up her guests a cocktail with a suggestive name.

The TV presenter was back on screens to host a Christmas special version of her ITV daytime show Lorraine. The 64-year-old was joined by a selection of guests as they got into the festive spirit on the show aired on Christmas Day. Yet during one segment in the programme, Lorraine left her co-stars in fits of laughter.

Lorraine served up a cocktail to health editor Hilary Jones, stylist Mark Heyes, entertainment editor Ria Hebden, and LA correspondent Ross King. She gave each of her guests a 'Twinkle' - a cocktail that includes vodka, elderflower liqueur, and champagne (or sparkling wine).

After each guest took a sip of their festive drinks, Lorraine made a cheeky comment. She quipped: "So, erm. What do you think of my Twinkle?" Ross joked: "It's been a while since I've seen you twinkle. Or indeed tasted your twinkle. But I'd like to say it looks lovely, and it tastes lovely, too."

Lorraine was accompanied by her dog Ruby, who sat on her lap during the show. She asked her pet dog if she would like some Twinkle, before opting to keep it to herself. Lorraine then took a sip of the drink and said: "That is brilliant. I'm loving it, so we're all going to go for Twinkles?"

During the Christmas special, Lorraine was also joined by Keisha Buchanan from The Sugarbabes and Strictly Come Dancing's Gorka Marquez. They spilled on what it was like working together for the Strictly Christmas special and how they had only two days of rehearsals.

“It was definitely much more difficult than I thought, but I had so much fun!” she said. Gorka added: “She’s a superstar. She came with such a positive energy, was willing to learn and we had fun. The Christmas special is about bringing joy to everyone at home. It’s bringing the magic of Strictly on the most wonderful day of the year, which is Christmas. Everyone’s at home with their families and loved ones, so Strictly is part of everybody.”

Keisha revealed she likes to spend Christmas in her pyjamas, while Gorka explained he would be spending it with Gemma Atkinson and their two children. He said: "The whole morning is opening presents, playing with new toys. I love the fact we open a present and it’s the most exciting present but five seconds later, there’s a new present, which is even more exciting, especially Mia.”

“She’s four and she opens presents and leaves everything around and me behind her picking up all the wrapping paper and putting it in a bag. I’m very excited to spend Christmas all together with the family and celebrate and have the best time. Mia is a showgirl, she loves to perform for everybody so she will be singing and dancing. I will be dancing with her, not Gemma.”

Celebrities including Graham Norton, Boy George, Joel Dommett, Matt Lucas, and the Duchess of York also made an appearance on Lorraine as they sent in Christmas messages.
