Tomorrow's the big day, and many of us will be scrambling to make sure turkeys are defrosted, vegetables are peeled, and ensuring we can make enough gravy for the whole family ahead of Christmas Day.

While it is just like cooking a Sunday roast, the pressure catapults on December 25 when hungry guests sit down at the table, donning hats they won in a cracker, and drooling as they wait for the feast to be served. Some hosts cook for large numbers or can be inundated with certain dietary requirements, which can make things trickier.

Adding to that pressure, is the cost of it all. It's no secret that Christmas food and shopping can be an expensive affair. Many families continue to struggle on the back of Covid-19 and the cost of living crisis, so doing all we can to avoid spending extra money or added stress is essential.

On December 23 - or December Eve Eve as some know it - my partner and I planned to have a festive feast at home. I didn't want to have to buy extra oven trays or feel worried about everything fitting in the appliance, so I cooked all the trimmings in our air fryer in a bid to save time, space, and money.

Read on to see how I did it.
