Pete Davidson reportedly caused a scene while filming his new crime movie, before cancelling his New York City stand-up comedy shows citing "unforeseen circumstances."

Sources claimed that while the comedian was filming his new movie Riff Raff, a paparazzi attempted to snap a photo of Pete with his co-stars Bill Murray and Ed Harris. The 30-year-old then allegedly "tried to confront the photographer."

In Touch Weekly claimed that Pete was "so furious" and that multiple members of the production crew were reportedly "forced to restrain him."

The source reported Pete "retreated to his trailer in a huff and proceeded to trash it." The alleged incident took place before Pete sparked concern among his fans as he abruptly cancelled a series of 11 comedy shows due to "unforeseen circumstances."

The Saturday Night Live star was set to take the New York City's Beacon Theatre stage on Friday but cancelled the show just a few hours before showtime with no explanation. Following this, the 30-year-old comedian went on to cancel all of his upcoming shows until January of next year. The axed shows were set to happen across the nation including stops in Texas, Tennessee, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Kentucky and Wisconsin.

Although Pete himself didn't give a reason behind bowing out of the shows, some of the venues reportedly posted messages on their websites writing that "unforeseen circumstances" led to the shows being called off. All of the ticketholders waiting to see the comedian were given two hours' notice that the show was cancelled and were automatically refunded their money.

Pete has yet to explain why he cancelled the shows, he has been very open about his mental health struggles in the past and has bowed out of previous commits to take care of his mental health. Earlier this year, the former King of Staten Island star checked into a mental health facility to receive treatment for his previously diagnosed borderline personality disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder.

At the time, a source told People: "Pete will often check himself into rehab to work on these issues. His friends and family have been supportive during this time."
