Prince Louis and royal kids moved to separate room for Christmas lunch
Mike Tindall has lifted the lid on how the royals spend Christmas with little Prince Louis and his young cousins having a lot of fun on their own.
Before the celebrations at Sandringham, the royals have a lunch and get-together in the run up to the big day, with this year's event taking place in Windsor on December 20.
However, while many of the royals attended, the younger royals, including Prince Louis don't sit at the main table. Instead, Mike shared that the all the young royals enjoy their Christmas lunch in a separate room.
In 2019, Mike spoke about the celebrations on his own rugby podcast 'The Good, The Bad & The Rugby'. James Haskell and Alex Payne, Mike's co-stars, then asked the royal which of the seven tables he is sat at. After marrying Zara Tindall in 2011, Mike has spent the last 12 Christmases in the presence of the Royal Family.

Is there a promotion and relegation based on the year's performance? Because if there is I imagine you're pretty much sitting on the right-hand side of Her Majesty."

After sharing that he was on the then-Prince Charles' table, Mike added: "This is the family lunch, there were seven tables so there must have been about 70 of us there. The kiddies have their own little one in a different room."
As well as Zara, Mike and their children, the King and Queen will be joined by the Prince and Princess of Wales and their three children - Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, eight, and Prince Louis, five.
The King has made sure that the big day is a big family affair - even extending invitations to Camilla's family too.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are, however, not set to join the family. The couple are opting to spend Christmas in the US with their two children - Prince Archie, four, and Princess Lilibet, two.
