Furious Kyle Walker had to be pulled away by his Manchester City team-mates after clashing with Fluminense's Felipe Melo following their dominant 4-0 victory on Friday.

Pep Guardiola's side added the Club World Cup to their glowing collection of trophies after Julian Alvarez's brace helped them to comfortably beat Fluminense in Saudi Arabia. It's their fifth major trophy of the year, after winning the Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup and Super Cup.

However, tensions boiled over after the game as Walker and Melo appeared to clash. It's unknown on what caused the pair to square up, but Walker and Melo came to blows as they could be seen shoving each-other, before Jack Grealish tried to pull the City right-back away from the incident.

A melee then formed between the two sets of players, though it didn't take long for the situation to calm down as celebrations continued for City as they secured their fourth trophy of the year. Mateo Kovacic and Marcelo - who played together at Real Madrid - shared a wholesome moment after the match as the respect between the two teams was largely admiring throughout.

Shortly later, captain Walker had the honour to lift the Club World Cup alongside his delighted team-mates, as City became the first English team to win five trophies in a calendar year. Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea are the other Premier League clubs to win the competition.

As for the game itself, City opened the scoring within the first minute as Alvarez tapped home from close range after Nathan Ake's effort crashed off the post. Guardiola's side doubled their advantage in the 27th minute when Foden's cross took a wicked deflection off Nino and flew into the corner.

It took City until 72 minutes to score a third and all but earn the win as Foden got himself on the scoresheet, tapping home Alvarez's cross. This was before Alvarez added his second of the contest with an excellent strike in the far corner, wrapping up the victory for Guardiola's men.
