I'm A Celebrity's Sam Thompson speechless over kind Christmas gesture from JLS

Sam Thompson received a Merry Christmas message from all four members of JLS in a video posted on Hits Radio UK's social media - and his reaction was priceless.

Sam, 31 and Marvin Humes, who makes up one quarter of the pop group, grew close when they appeared on this year's I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here. While in the Australian jungle viewers saw Sam and Marvin singing the group's song Everybody In Love, while re-enacting the choreography, much to the delight of viewers. In the video, posted earlier this week, Marvin sang a bit of the song and then referenced the characters in a movie he and Sam made up.

And then out of nowhere, the other members of the group popped up to wish the Made In Chelsea star a happy Christmas. Aston Merrygold said a few words which left the star gobsmacked as he threw himself into his chair in shock and exclaimed: 'No!'

Aston told Sam that he "and the rest of the boys" would see him in person the New Year, before handing the phone over to JB Gill. When Sam saw JB he screamed:"Oh, it's the geezers!" as he realised Marvin had enlisted the whole group.

JB thanked Sam for looking after Marvin while on the ITV show and then hinted that Sam could join them on stage next year. The last person to speak to the camera was Oritse Williams who revealed that Sam's enthusiasm of JLS songs made the group re-enter the charts.

JLS have had five number ones during their seven year run. Marvin finished off the video by telling Sam he will see him live in the studio in the New Year. The video was captioned by Hits Radio UK: "@jlsofficial sent @samthompsonuk some Christmas loveee. Tune in to Sam's Christmas Day Show "Jungle Bells" from 1 pm for all of this and MORE."

Since leaving I'm A Celebrity, Sam has been tipped to join This Morning. Fans have recently begged ITV bosses to consider Sam as the main host of the show. And this week Josie, who reprised her presenting role said: "I have seen the rumours that he might be doing something with This Morning and I was like 'Can we please keep him?'"

Speaking to Metro.co.uk, she added: "I would love for him to come over to This Morning and be part of the family. He would make such a lovely addition." The presenter says she doesn't know anything about it but is hoping "the rumours are true."

This comes after This Morning was left in chaos after Cat Deeley reportedly turned down the offer to replace Holly Willoughby as the new host. Bosses reportedly made their decision to have Ben Shephard and Cat as replacements for Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby.
