Emmerdale Mackenzie Boyd star Lawrence Robb has impressed fans with his hidden talent.

The actor - who plays Mackenzie Boyd in the popular ITV soap - took to Instagram to show off his hidden talent, leaving his co-stars and fans stunned. The actor performed a rendition of Silent Night and showcased his piano playing skills.

Taking to social media to share the video of his singing talents, he wrote a cheeky caption alongside it, sharing: "Let's jingle our bells. Merry Christmas you filthy animals." His fans and friends were incredibly impressed by the rendition.

Danny Miller, known for his portrayal of Aaron Dingle, commented: "Didn't think I could love you anymore then you go and do this," whilst Bradley Johnson, who plays Vinny Dingle, responded: "Amazing pal!!!" Daisy Campbell, who stars as Amelia Spencer, chimed in with: "Voice of an angel," whilst fans also took to the comments to share their thoughts.

"Mate! This is just.. lovely! Hope you're well and hopefully see ya in 24," a friend wrote, whilst a fan of the soap shared: "I just played this to my 10 year old son, and said guess who this is singing, he straight away said that's thingy who was with Chloe on Emmerdale, I said how the heck did you know that and he said you can tell by the accent! Clever kid and top Emmerdale fan!!!"

Last year, Emmerdale took on Britain's Get Singing where they competed against teams from Coronation Street, Loose Women, Love Island and The Chase in a bid to be crowned Christmas singing champions.

Olivia Bromley, who plays Dawn, and Lisa Riley, who stars as Mandy Dingle, also got involved whilst Bradley Johnson, Daisy Campbell and Jay Kontzle also took part alongside Mackenzie star Lawrence Robb.

Mack is part of a huge storyline at present, having been kidnapped by his ex Chloe Harris' evil father Damon Harris - also known as Harry. Mack is currently being held hostage in a disused barn, as Harry warned him if he wanted to leave alive he would need to sign over the rights to their son Reuben to Chloe and leave her alone forever - but will he do it?
