Kim Kardashian's 'sad' Christmas decorations cause massive criticism from fans
Kim Kardashian showed off her holiday decorated home, but was met with sharp criticism.
In her Calabasas mansion, Kim took fans on a tour of her "true winter wonderland slice of heaven," as she described it. Throughout the property, the socialite had over 100 very real Christmas trees that took over both the outside and the inside.
One hallway alone had 26 trees which caused some fans to get a bit upset. Despite the backlash, Kim takes pride in her home decor. She explained: "This is truly the golden hour for me, when my kids are asleep and I get to just appreciate all of my decorations and take some time for myself.

She even brought them inside her house (Kim kardashian instagram)The star credited artist Jeff Leatham and event planner Mindy Weiss for their creation, inspired by Kim's vision. She wanted something simplistic, but still festive and the pair were able to bring that to life. As she continued to pan around the trees, she said: "The trees outside being all lit and white, and then going into the white tree... going to the forest of trees here is just so cool."

She also dished that the trees were actually real. She described the forest-like scent as "heavenly" as she was engulfed by the smell. While this was certainly a sweet and unique nod to the holidays, plenty of fans were unsatisfied with her choices for decorations, thinking it went a bit too far.

A lot of people aren't able to have a Christmas and you just flaunt your house full of trees, and you said real ones [and] that's a lot of oxygen that was removed from Mother Earth for you to have a house full of Christmas trees."
"Having so many trees doesn't it make it special," one criticized Kim's choice to exist in excess. Another added: "That's too much, that's an overkill. Now that's how you decorate for Christmas," a fan argued against all of the naysayers.
