Danny Cipriani shares reason for I'm A Celebrity snub after dropping out of show
Danny Cipriani has responded to claims he snubbed the latest series of I'm A Celebrity, after reports he was due to enter the jungle.
The rugby player appeared to confirm reports he ditched the show, and revealed the real reason for him dropping out seemingly last minute. Last month, it was claimed just days before the series aired that Danny was no longer going to be appearing on the series, while it wasn't clarified at what point he had dropped out.
Reports had suggested the breakdown of his marriage to his wife Victoria Rose was to blame, with him confirming this sad news earlier in the month. But Danny has appeared to confirm what really led to him opting out of the jungle before the show began.
Speaking on This Morning on Wednesday, I'm A Celebrity star and host Josie Gibson questioned Danny about not doing the jungle series, admitting she had expected him to walk into camp at some point. Danny confessed he had the option of appearing on the show or taking part in BBC's Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special instead.

Back in August, a source told Mail Online that Danny was confirmed for the show, while it was months later the decision was made by Danny not to appear. The source said at the time: "He will be the hunk of the lineup and already there is talk of him and shower scenes amongst staff working on the programme. There is also huge anticipation that he will reveal secrets from his showbiz lifestyle, he has been linked to many women over the years, and his scandals are well documented too so there will be lots for him to share.
"But he has a sense of humour too which will ensure he is both popular amongst his camp mates but also with those watching at home. Danny might have settled down now but he is still wild at heart. There are high hopes that he will make it to the final."
