Strictly's Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola drop biggest hint yet they are dating
Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola have hinted that there is ‘love’ blossoming between them following their triumph on Strictly Come Dancing.
The 22-year-old soap star and the 31-year-old Italian dance professional waltzed all the way to victory on Saturday night when they scooped the Glitterball Trophy against the odds. Viewers watching in the live studio audience, and those tuning in from home, were left gasping during Saturday’s live final almost ended in disaster when a daring went wrong and Ellie fell from the shoulders of Vito, plunging head-first towards the ground.
But Vito expertly caught her, saving her from what would have been a brutal injury. The pair were shaken by the wobble - but went on to win the show despite the slip up.
In the wake of their victory, Ellie and Vito have taken to social media to declare their love for each other - fuelling rumours of a romance between them even further. Sharing a snap of them lifting the trophy, Ellie wrote: "To the most wonderful partner i could have ever asked for. Words cannot describe how much love and admiration i have for you.

Ellie's sweet words struck a chord with Vito who was quick to respond to her message with a tribute of his own. He wrote: "I am not gonna lie. I am crying. Tears of happiness. Thank you for have trusted me, because without your trust none of what we did would have been possible."
He continued: "I didn’t make you shine, and I didn’t really do anything special…What I did I have just help you to see yourself for what you really are! I saw the light in you since the first moment and you were shining already during our meeting day. You were just not able to see it, to recognise it and to appreciate you real beauty, and I think that every person deserves to see the light.
"I have just opened your eyes, because you were a bit afraid to see inside you… but look at you today. I have enjoyed and loved every single day and week we had.. and..this is just the beginning Lulú."
Fans couldn't ignore the touching words between the dancefloor couple. On fan responded to the post, writing: "Can't even cope with how cute you two are." And another typed: "omg you guys stop ... this is so beautiful!" alongside a string of heart emojis and emotion filled eyed emojis too.
Ellie and Vito appeared on This Morning where show host Josie Gibson directly asked them if there was anything more than friendship forming between them. The 38-year-old former Big Brother contestant wrote: "We've seen you on that dancefloor and it was so beautiful to watch. Is there any romance between you guys?"
Ellie laughed and replied: "Honestly, we've just been having the most amazing time dancing and we've built a really strong bond and a friendship that will last forever." While Vito added: "We have a really beautiful bond, a good bond. When you see a person and you connect with a person straight away. I'm a very first impression and when we met, we had that feeling that we knew each other for so long. I'm so so lucky to have you in my life."
