Love Island's Kai Fagan has famous relative who was in Coronation Street
Love Island star Kai Fagan has revealed his relative was on Coronation Street.
The science and PE teacher is hoping he will find love this Winter as the ITV2 show returns for a new series - hosted by Maya Jama - and ahead of his stint in his villa, he's revealed his cousin was a longstanding character on the ITV soap.
Kai revealed his cousin Dean Fagan was a regular on the Cobbles, as he opened up about his school life and how he knew Premier League footballer Marcus Rashford whilst attending the establishment, which was sponsored by Manchester United.

Maya Jama will host the new series (ITV)Speaking about his claim to fame, he said: "My cousin Dean was in Coronation Street. I went to school with Marcus Rashford and we were in the same class. The school I went to was sponsored by Manchester United - I had so many experiences because of that."
Kai says his single status is by choice as he wants to find the right girl.

"I’m single by choice. I’m looking for the right girl. I feel like I have quite high expectations. I don’t feel I should commit to someone unless I’m absolutely buzzing over them, because it’s not fair on them," he added.
There's a new group of singletons looking for love (ITV)Kai is looking forward to spending lots of time with the girls in the villa, as he describes it as a "perfect" way to meet someone.
He shared: "When you first meet someone you never normally get to spend that much time with them, so when you’re genuinely looking for a connection, the Villa is the perfect place to do it."
The teacher describes himself as "mature, calm and chilled" - and wants someone who likes keeping busy with him.

"If you like to be busy too, then you can be busy with me. I can’t remember the last time I sat in on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday night."
