9 outfits from H&M's 50% off sale that are perfect for Christmas Day
If you've been into H&M recently, you will have seen its party wear collection is jaw-droppingly gorgeous - and as a long-standing fan of the shop, I am pretty obsessed with each and every dress, trouser and top on offer, especially with Christmas and New Year's Eve nearly here.
Even more so with its sale having dropped some days ago offering up to 50 per cent off some of its best-selling items. So, if you've had your eye on a certain dress from the high street retailer - which is behind two of this year's most viral, sell-out dresses; the white sequin mini dress with a black bow and the 'dress that looks good on everyone' - this may be your opportunity to snap it up for a fraction of the price.

Alternatively, if you're needing some last minute inspiration for what to wear on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day or Boxing Day, we've taken a look at just some of the party wear that's included in the pre-Christmas H&M sale and we are completely obsessed. So much so we've taken liberty to share some of the best and our favourite deals on the clothing brand's website, to save you having to trawl through it yourselves.

This dress comes in black, bronze, green and dark grey (H&M)Starting off strong, we have a party classic: the sequin dress, This one has been reduced by over a tenner and its fit is flattering on most if not all body shapes. With flared sleeves and a smock fit, the dress is perfect for hiding the bloat post-Christmas dinner and for giving you the room to dance or plays charades as flamboyantly as you like.
Coming in four different colours, the dress has received a bunch of five star reviews, one of which said: "Stunning dress that fits well without clinging or catching (I am size 22/24 and ordered XXL). The cuffs are comfortable on the wrists, allowing free movement. The dress is quite heavy under the weight of all of those sequins, but is well lined so it's not itchy. Highly recommended!"

Designed with an asymetric neckline, it's cosy and chic jumper dress that has an air of sophistication that would work dressed up with a pair of heels or down with some boots. Off-the-shoulder tops are having a moment - and this one from H&M is both festive and stylish (H&M)Off the shoulder tops are having a bit of a moment as research conducted by high street fellow New Look has discovered, finding out that there has been a spike in search for the garments by 244%. And so if you're looking for one to perfect your Christmas Day outfit, this off the shoulder number that's had 65% knocked off its price is fitted with a sweetheart neckline and finished in a rib-knit viscose blend and decorated in black beads. Pair it with a pair of leather-look trousers, heels and a bow in your hair for a sophisticated look.

Knitted Sequin Embellished Jacket - was £155 now £99
This is a real statement jacket (H&M)You don't have to wear a dress or sequin trousers to channel your Christmas sparkle as this sophisticated blue sequin jumper has had most than £50 knocked off its price. Coming complete with padded shoulders for a structured finish, a round neckline and, of course, covered in sequins, the cropped jacket has had five stars across the board from shoppers.

Sequins, fringe and silver colouring? Name a more bold, dramatic garment... (H&M)Silver is the colour of the season (alongside red) and so when we saw this epic sequin and fringe-trim blazer we simply had to add it to our 'must have' list. And with a few sizes remaining, it seems like we're not the only ones.
The jacket has a cropped but relaxed fit with notch lapels and comes in sequin mesh. Described as looking 'more expensive than it was', it's a bargain at this sale price.

A co-ord that's as comfy as pyjamas but stylish as a suit? Look no further (H&M)Sticking on the silver theme, this co-ord features a long-line shirt and wide-leg trousers made from metallic jersey material. It seems like the perfect Christmas Day outfit that'll leave you comfortable all day long, make you feel like you're in pyjamas - thanks to the lose fit and trousers' elasticated waistband - but make you look elegantly put together. That seems like a win win to me.

This dress has £70 off (H&M)Perfect for any Boxing Day parties you may be attending, this ruffled tube dress brings a whole lot of glamour and drama to the floor by itself, meaning your accessories can be very subtle. The strapless dress is fitted with supportive boning comes in sizes 4 to 16 - although being a mini dress, you may need to wrap up warm before leaving the house.

Rhinestone-embellished dress - was £54.99 now £15
This dress is great for making a statement (H&M)With over £40 (73%) knocked off its price, this sale item is a real steal. The fitted dress comes in a light beige mesh material, meaning its relatively translucent so it's gorgeous over a white or nude colour slip. The mesh is decorated with sparkling rhinestones giving it some festive drama and the long, ankle length of the dress makes the silhouette super glamorous, giving you an air of the Snow Queen.
Being described as a "showstopper", one shopper said: "I absolutely love this dress, it is a showstopper. I tried it on with a maxi slip and the mesh sort of rides up a little so need to find a fabric underneath that will work with the mesh. The sleeves are long and hit mid-hand but I love this as I would style this with a blazer/jacket so having it poke out at the cuff is great. It's form fitting but not clingy in a bad way, just a lush."
