It's Layton Williams' last chance to impress the judges and viewers at home tonight.
The talented actor and theatre performer will be battling it out on the dancefloor in the Strictly Come Dancing final in a bid to lift the coveted Glitterball Trophy. After amazing judges with his jaw-dropping routines, Layton has made headlines week after week for his extraordinary dancing skills as well as his rumoured beau.
The 29-year-old, who is partnered up with professional Nikita Kuzmin, is familiar with life in the spotlight given his musical theatre background. At the young age of 12, he rose to fame after he starred as Billy Elliot in the musical, being a regular star in the world of the West End, continuously wowing his audiences. One of his most recent roles was playing the lead in Everybody's Talking About Jamie - a role that established him as a force to be reckoned with in the world of theatre.
But as he appears on screens each weekend, rumours have been swirling around about Layton's dating history and a "mystery boyfriend." Earlier this year, he took to his Instagram Story with a photo of a mystery man wearing a cap, dropping a heart emoji in the caption. Alongside a second photo, he teased: "Yes, that was a soft launch. No, you ain't getting his @."

Since then, Layton has kept his fans guessing about his relationship status, leaving everyone wondering who the lucky man could be. In recent weeks, The Sun reported that his mystery boyfriend goes by the name of James Harper - after he posted a picture of them at Glastonbury and then after a picture of them drinking wine together. The Sun said: “James has been by Layton’s side throughout Strictly. He even travelled to Blackpool to watch him perform there.”
It’s reported that James is also an actor and also runs a deli bar in London. Layton has consistently received high scores from the judges and even topped the leaderboard with the first nines of the series in the second week of the competition. But could he be crowned 2023 champion? Only time will tell...
