KSI drops Speed with brutal body shot in farcical fight between YouTube rivals

KSI dropped IShowSpeed three times before bizarrely 'tapping out' against his YouTube rival.

The social media stars arranged the session to settle their rivalry which has been brewing for months. They even timed it to coincide with Jake Paul's boxing fight over 4,000 miles away in Florida - but didn't start until after Paul had destroyed Andre August in the first round.

Starting at around 3.45am, KSI was on the front foot from the opening minute of the first round. Speed showed little appetite for engaging as he boxed on the back foot. The youngster had never boxed before while KSI was fresh from going eight rounds with Tommy Fury in October.

And KSI made his experience tell when he dropped Speed with a body shot just before the buzzer for the end of the round. Speed was able to rise and return to his corner. He emerged for the second session but was again under immediate pressure. He was so bad that he fell into the ropes and almost slipped through them.

KSI, who opted not to wear a headguard, stalked his opponent, throwing out his jab while clearly pulling his punches. He began to showboat as the second round progressed as Speed attempted to catch his breath while failing to land a single shot. He was soon pinned against the ropes but KSI again opted to take it easy.

But once more, at the end of the round, Speed sunk to the canvas, this time in the corner, as his cardio failed him. He struggled to rise at the bell but was eventually read to resume. KSI began to allow his opponent the opportunity to punch him without risk as Speed landed to the body, albeit with no meaningful impact. But ultimately, KSI returned to his old ways and dropped Speed for a third time with a right hook to the body.

Again he eventually managed to recover, however, and resumed the round. He was again forced to take a break, however, as another body shot did the damage. Speed resorted to running away from KSI in the ring before the bell sounded for the end of the fourth round. There were due to be a further two rounds but KSI called a halt to proceedings despite Speed's protestations.

KSI then bizarrely 'tapped out' on the canvas and told Speed he had won. But the YouTuber refused to accept the result and shouted at KSI who left the ring.
