BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Bobby Brazier reveals why Dianne Buswell deserves trophy

Strictly Come Dancing star Bobby Brazier joked about the real reason Dianne Buswell deserves the Glitterball Trophy.

The EastEnders star, 20, and his dance partner Dianne, 34, have reached the finals along with Layton Williams with his dance partner Nikita Kuzmin and Ellie Leach with partner Vito Coppola. After weeks of training and incredible performances, Dianne and Bobby grew close to each other.

Bobby took to his Instagram Stories to share a glimpse of the two taking a break from their rehearsal session. Dianne decided to give her dance partner a last-minute pedicure ahead of the weekend's final and Bobby was delighted to receive a free pampering session from his friend.

In the clip, Dianne said: "I'm giving you a pedicure," as she started working on her feet before Bobby said: "Thank you!" Dianne added: "Getting these feet ready for the final!"

"She deserves the glitterball for this alone," Bobby wrote alongside the clip. For the final, Bobby and Dianne will perform two old routines - a Samba to Candi Stanton's Young Hearts Run Free for their judges' pick and a Couples Choice to Maxwell's This Woman's Work.

They are also dancing to a La La Land medley. Earlier this week, Bobby's EastEnders co-star James Farrar - who plays Zack Hudson on the show - appeared on It Takes Two to back him. Host Janette Manrara noted: "Whether he wins or not, he is still the younger male celebrity to ever get to the Strictly final. Do you think he could do something like that when he first started?"

To which James responded: "20, I just don't believe he's 20. He's the most mature 20-year-old I've ever met." James said: "I was out partying at that age, never able to behave, and the boy knows how to get his head down and get it done which we've seen at EastEnders.

"He came in, I was assigned as his mentor, and I thought 'I'm going to have to look after this boy' but he looks after everybody else so I'm not that surprised he's here. He works hard and he's very likeable and we love him."

It comes amid rumours that Bobby's TV presenter dad, Jeff Brazier, is keen to follow in his son's footsteps and join the next Strictly Come Dancing cast. Jeff has been a pillar of support for Bobby as he's competed in the BBC One dancing competition this year, watching and cheering him on as he takes part in the show.

EastEnders star Bobby, who portrays Freddie Slater in the soap, has been a sensation on the show and is set to compete in this weekend's final. Now, whispers are circulating that the 44-year-old actor is keen to have a go on the show himself, hoping for a spot in next year's line-up. It seems Jeff has become a massive fan of the show since his son joined, and he's eager for his own chance to strut his stuff on the dance floor.
