Matthew Wolfenden denies he cheated on Charley Webb as he kisses Elf co-star
Emmerdale star Matthew Wolfenden furiously denied ever cheating on his wife Charley Webb in a new post.
In November, the former couple decided to call time on their marriage after months of speculation on their relationship. Emmerdale's Debbie Dingle star wrote in her statement: "It is with love and respect that Matthew and I have decided to separate.
"We remain friends and our priority is the love for our children. For their sake we would appreciate privacy at this time. C x." Matthew shared the same message on his Instagram story signing off with "M". The couple, who share three children, met on the set of ITV soap Emmerdale and began dating in 2007.
The father of three, 43, grew close to his co-star Heather Scott-Martin and has been seen on several romantic outings. In a recent report, it was claimed Matthew started dating Heather before he split from Charley. In a new post on Instagram shared with his 198,000 followers, Matthew denied the cheating accusations.

This (so called) reporting is an out and out LIE!" he said as he referred to a caption that claimed he started dating his Elf co-star before his split from Charley. Can you leave us alone now?"

He also wrote: "Glad to get that off my chest! And if you want to come see us both in Elf - click the link for tickets!"
Meanwhile, Matthew and Heather were recently seen walking hand in hand dressed casually in hats and coats. At one point, while walking along the streets of London the pair stopped in the middle of the street and shared a romantic kiss, oblivious to onlookers.
Heather is starring in the West End musical of Elf as Swing/Dance Captain and Matthew is starring as Buddy. The production is being held at the Dominion Theatre. She trained at the BRIT school and performing art school Bird College and since then, she has appeared in a number of stage shows including Annie, Mamma Mia, Aladdin and Beauty and the Beast.
Speaking about the duo's evening out, an onlooker claimed to The Sun: "They looked like honeymooners or loved-up teenagers. The pictures will prove a shock to the heart for poor Charley, even as her relationship with Matthew unravelled."
Charley and soap star Matthew met on the set of Emmerdale back in 2006 when he first joined the soap, and became engaged just three years later, in 2009. They previously split in 2013 for two years, before having a surprise wedding in 2018 at Ripley Castle, Yorkshire.
