Loose Women star Olivia Attwood has opened up about the difference in opinion she is battling with husband Bradley Dack.

The 32-year-old former Love Island contestant tied-the-knot with 29-year-old footballer Bradley in June this year. Now that they are married, the topic of becoming parents has been raised - but the pair have a difference of opinion on the matter.

Olivia was on the panel of Loose Women on Thursday alongside fellow panelists Jane Moore, 61, and Linda Robson, 65 - as well as main presenter Charlene White, 43. Among the topics up for discussion on the ITV lunchtime talk show was Hollywood star Sienna Miller’s current pregnancy - as the 41-year-old actress is currently expecting her second child. As Sienna is in her 40s, her pregnancy is considered a ‘geriatric pregnancy’ - with Janes, Linda and Charlene all discussing the fact they had endured geriatric pregnancies themselves.

As the debates volleyed between the presenter and panelists, Olivia opened up about her own plans to have children - or not to, as the case may be. The reality star explained that her younger husband is desperate to become a father, but she is happy focusing on her career rather than starting a family at this point in her life.

Olivia explained: “I’m sitting here listening to you girls talking and I’m thinking I’m going to be a geriatric mother, as they call it.” Charlene then asked Liv is she had plans for children in her immediate future and she replied: “No. I mean, never say never, you know, and all that stuff.

“I’m obviously married and very happy and Brad would love to have one, you know, tomorrow. But I’m, right now, other things excite me. I don’t have that maternal instinct yet. The way it is going, I probably will be around that 35 age. Which is mad to hear that’s when they call if geriatric!”

Olivia went on to say she would prefer to “keep reducing dogs” rather than have kids as she faces her future with Bradley. Jane asked if Olivia saw a future with no kids, and she replied: “I don’t see that being the case but I also wouldn’t say that’s never going to happen. I’m very open to which ever way it goes.”

Later in the show, the topic of gifting dogs for Christmas was raised - with Olivia issuing a stern warning to those planning to had over puppies to loved ones without fully considering the consequences. She said: “I’ve got two dogs myself… I’ve worked with charities… More dogs are being abandoned than ever.

“The RSPCA are facing a three year high on abandonment calls. A dog is not just a gift… I don’t think they should be gifted even if there is a conversation. It is a living creature and if you’ve had one you know the responsibility and the cost.”

She added: “I won’t compare them to children, but there is that responsibility and if they get ill it can be expensive. Investigate adoption over shopping, always.”
