'My boyfriend pays for everything so I'm stress-free - it's how it should be'
A stay-at-home girlfriend who has her boyfriend pay for every expense argues it's 'how it should be'.
Yelena Lala, 25, believes her man, who wishes not to be named, has spent around £1m on her since they started dating three years ago. The 34-year-old puts them up in five-star hotels as they travel across the world together.
The couple met on Instagram after he reached out to her and a month later, he flew out from New York to Paris to meet her, which is where she worked as a fashion intern. On their third date, he whisked her away to the south of France.
And it hasn't ended there, as the boyfriend, who works remotely in tech, has taken her on all-expenses-paid holidays to Namibia, New York, Mexico and Lapland. In total, the pair have visited 55 countries.

While she has her own jewellery brand, she is happy not to work. Yelena, from Paris, said: "Every expense is on him. I never have to worry about anything. I live a stress-free life.

“That's my mentality – every expense is on the man. You can't settle, your soulmate is out there." Speaking about how they met online in September 2020, she explained: "He came to Paris to meet me. I was quite shocked when he came to see me. The moment I met him I had tunnel vision on the guy."
Yelena's man began whisking her away to different countries on holiday. They became an exclusive couple in January 2021 and the pair have been travelling since. He puts them up in five-star hotels and plans everything – so she doesn't have to lift a finger.
They are often only in destinations for a few days or weeks before moving on. Yelena said: "It's very spontaneous. He'll be like tomorrow we’re going to Japan. I never plan anything unless it's something I want to do."
Yelena, who often stays in luxury Marriott Hotels, hopes to find a base to call home with her boyfriend – but they have struggled to find somewhere to live together due to visa issues. In the meantime, she is enjoying travelling around.
She said: "I have a nail person in most countries – which is funny. I'm loving life. It's always nice hotels – he has amazing taste." The Influencer does what she wants every day – waking up naturally, going for breakfast, lunch and dinner and says no expense is spared.
She said: "He’s spent so much. I think it's a man's responsibility to take care of a woman. When a man really loves a woman he naturally provides for her for the extent he's able to. I’ll always be a travelling girlfriend."
