Prince Harry once tore down a poster of his late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, so she couldn't 'watch him party'.

According to Paddy McGuinness, the incident happened during a 'wild party' many years ago. During a night out with the Duke of Sussex and many other stars, the 50-year-old Top Gear star insisted he saw Prince Harry remove the picture so the late Queen wouldn't witness what he got up to in the 'underground' Chelsea club in London.

Paddy also claimed the Duke was 'snogging and kissing me' before 'ripping a photo of the Queen' from the wall as he couldn't 'have her watching me doing this.' During a chat on the Restless Natives podcast, he told hosts Gordon Smart and Martin Compston that the club had a 'secret door' for celebrities to go through.

The presenter explained: "I get a tap on the shoulder and it's Prince Harry… I thought that's bonkers. He kept appearing and disappearing."

"I was talking to one of the security lads at the end.. he [Harry] was ripping my t-shirt off, then he f***ing rips a photo of the Queen off the wall and says 'I can't have her watching me do this'." Paddy went on to claim he asked Prince Harry's security guard what was going on. He added the officer replied: "They'll [the CCTV footage] never see the light of day. This is one of the clubs where the royals go and they can let off steam."

It comes as Prince Harry was given a huge boost after his scathing attacks on the Royal Family saw his popularity plummet. His explosive memoir Spare, which was released in January, was just announced as the best-selling of 2023 in the UK, according to Amazon.

The book documented all aspects of his life, including his fractious relationship with his father, King Charles, and his turbulent sibling rivalry with his big brother Prince William. Harry and his gorgeous wife Meghan Markle saw their popularity drop when they stepped down from senior roles in the Royal Family back in 2020.

They moved to California to raise their family, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, and ever since leaving the royal family, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have received criticism for their interviews about life as a royal. Their bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021, in which they claimed an unidentified member of the Royal Family asked about their unborn baby's skin tone, sparked a lot of controversy.

Many vented their anger at Harry and Meghan on social media. His tell-all book, Spare, resulted in even more backlash as the book contained jaw-dropping details about his military career, his struggle with grief after the death of his mother, Princess Diana, and his sex life.
