Kate Beckinsale looks unrecognisable at glitzy star-studded Xmas Bel Air bash

Kate Beckinsale cut an incredibly youthful appearance when she attended an annual Christmas party hosted by Kathy Hilton and her two daughters, Paris and Nicky.

With her flawless complexion, the 50 year old Underworld star sported a look those half her age would be enviable of. Showcasing her new blonde bob and slender frame, Kate could have easily been mistaken as a relative of Paris and Nicky Hilton.

Wearing a pink metallic dress, Kate complimented her look with a pair of clear towering heels and opted for racing red lipstick, highlighting her striking new hair colour. The party, held in Bel Air, attracted a host of well-known faces including Hollywood star Tiffany Haddish, and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star and the sister of Kathy Hilton, Kyle Richards.

Kate's youthful look has come under speculation of late and the star was recently forced to shut down rumours of going under the surgeon's knife. In May, after posting a picture of herself on social media one fan asked if she'd had plastic surgery saying: "Please tell me you had a facelift because it’s not possible to be this gorgeous at 50." And Kate replied saying: "I haven’t sorry … Maybe in July everything will start falling off lol x."

However, she has admitted to having skincare treatments. She said: "I do have facials with prp to boost collagen and microcurrent for skin tightening and oxygen. I probably would try laser but I’m a bit scared. Haven’t so far." Desperately trying to defend herself against a thread of plastic surgery claims, she hit out again on social media in response to another fans accusing her of denying having work done.

Kate said at the time: "I haven’t had a facelift or filler or Botox. I’m not lying and I don’t have to accept people accusing me of things I haven’t done." She then further explained that she was unable to have Botox due to a medical condition. Kate explained: "I actually can't. I have a condition called mast cell activation syndrome which is actually a massive daily struggle and means I react to hundreds of things badly. Can’t take the risk."

Mast cell activation syndrome is a condition that causes mast cells to release an inappropriate amount of chemicals into your body. This causes allergy symptoms and a wide range of other symptoms, according to WebMD. And again, two years ago, Kate denied having cosmetic procedures during an interview with The Sunday Times.

She stated: "I haven't had any. I'm not against people having it. [But] I do get pissed off. It's sort of a given that I've had it, which I just literally haven't.My family are generally on the younger-looking side. Even my dog is nine and looks like a puppy."
