Amazon Prime members can now get two Odeon cinema tickets for £10

You can't beat heading out to the cinema to watch the next blockbuster movie on the big screen. But there's often an obstacle in the way. No, not the loud chewing of popcorn by those sat around you, but the price.

The cost has gradually risen over recent years to the point that many people can only justify the trip out if it's a film they're desperate to see. It's become even more of an issue for cinemas these days given how easily accessible lots of brilliant films are on streaming services like Disney+ and Netflix, not to mention how brilliant home entertainment devices have become much more affordable.

But a new partnership from Amazon Prime and Odeon means that Prime members can now get two cinema tickets for £10 - a saving of more than 45% on the standard price at most Odeons. And, even better, if you aren't a Prime member you can try out the service for free for 30 days and still claim the discounted tickets.

“We're always looking for ways to offer even more value to Prime members, giving them the best of shopping and entertainment,” said John Boumphrey, UK Country Manager at Amazon. “As well as the biggest movies and TV shows on Prime Video, this offers our customers the opportunity to get great value on the big screen at Odeon cinemas across the UK and Ireland.”

The offer is available Monday to Thursday and redeemable once per month per Prime member.

How much does it cost after the free trial?

• Amazon Prime membership is £8.99 per month or £95 per year.
• Prime Student members can also take advantage of the deal as part of their membership, which is only £4.49 per month. Those studying can sign up for a 6-month trial of Prime Student

There are many other perks that come with being an Amazon Prime member that lots of people aren't aware of. They include Prime Gaming, Amazon Music and free Deliveroo Plus for a whole year which means unlimited free delivery on orders over £25 from restaurants and takeaways.

If Amazon Prime isn't for you but you're still on the hunt for cheap cinema tickets then Vue also has a number of offers, including two free tickets every month for Sky Cinema customers. O2 Priority members can also get two tickets for £9.
