I’m A Celebrity hosts Ant and Dec wasted no time in telling off Tony Bellew over the "abuse" he'd given them across the series.

The pair put the boxer on the spot during Sunday's live final, as he waited to find out who had won the show. Tony had made the final three with Nigel Farage and Sam Thompson with them all competing to become the 2023 King of the Jungle. After Farage was confirmed to have finished in third place, Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly spoke to Tony and Sam up in the studio - where Sam would eventually be crowned winner of the series.

It was during this final chat that Dec had brought up Tony's antics and the "abuse" sent their way. Dec said: "We got a lot of abuse this year..." before looking at the campmate.

Tony looked red-faced as Sam laughed, with Tony then apologising to the hosts. He said: "I'm sorry, I didn't mean it. I am sorry it just comes out."

Some of the things Tony had said to the guys included that they were "liars" and also "a*******s", slamming them during trials. In the last trial he took part in, he swore and slammed the crew and the hosts for the entire task.

During a number of trials he took aim at the hosts, and even his co-stars. He was also heard making a jibe at Farage in one moment. But Tony made it clear there were no hard feelings, apologising for his outbursts.

As for Sam, he was unapologetic for his fangirling of Ant and Dec and even Tony throughout the series. The show superfan was thrilled to have made it as far as he had done, and learning he had won left him emotional.

Sam told hosts Ant and Dec: "I feel overwhelmed, I didn't even think I would get invited on the show. Asked if he had a message for voters, he said: "I am so grateful, I have dreamed of being on this show. You just made a boy's dream come true."

Sam also told the presenting duo: "I never knew I could be as happy as I am right now, it's been magical. It's like a dream I don't want you to wake me up from. I got asked for my down moments in there and I don't know, even the moments I felt low I was like 'I am feeling low in the jungle'.

"There were so many amazing people I never thought I would get to spend time with." Asked about the prospect of winning he said: "I just wanted to hit cyclone. Anything else is a bonus and feels like a dream."
