This despicable Tory pantomime would be shut down for rowdiness if a theatre rather than the Houses of Parliament.

Idiots fighting in the stalls, yobs screaming abuse from the circle, fools rampaging on the stage is the UK Conservative Government disintegrates before our eyes.

There will be no second season for weak and incompetent Rishi Sunak, a charlatan Prime Minister who self-pityingly thinks he’s Baron Hard-done-by in this pantomime.

Rwanda is the scene for this week’s crisis but the Tories are suffering a deeper malaise. The Conservatives are no longer a single party but two, three or four factions fighting each other under a single banner.

Sunak pleaded “unite or die” and they opted to either kill each other or book tickets for Dignitas. Keir Starmer and Labour are loving it, obviously.

This Tory implosion is like an early Christmas present. Why interrupt a rival mob when they’re killing each other? But this ungainly punch-up lasting up to another year is a tragedy for Britain.

The Tories are incapable of boosting squeezed household incomes, ending the cost-of-living crisis and creating economic growth.

With the NHS on its knees, they’re a sick joke. Migration, legal and illegal, is a genuine issue but these squabbling Tories have no answers to offer.

Getting Britain moving forwards, not backwards, will be a Herculean challenge for Labour when they win power.

Deranged Tories calling for the return of Boris Johnson on a nightmare ticket with Nigel Farage are lost in the past.

The Rwanda mess is a symptom of a Tory terminal condition, regardless of tomorrow night’s cliff-edge vote in the Commons.

Christmas is coming early for Starmer but he’ll need to wait longer for the election.
