Strictly Come Dancing star Vito Coppola declared his 'love' for partner Ellie Leach in a hidden message on stage - but it's not all what it seems. The pair, who have continued to wow the judges and viewers at home each week, have dominated headlines thanks to their strong connection on the dancefloor - which has sparked speculation as to whether they are dating behind the scenes.
Vito and former Coronation Street actress Ellie Leach have now made it to tonight's semi-final of the BBC dancing competition, however it was in Musicals week in which the professional dancer seemingly et slip his feelings for his celeb partner. Head judge Shirley Ballas said the performance was "off the charts", adding: "You did a wonderful job of opening the show, well done."
The couple scored a secure 36 out of 40, coming second place after Layton Williams and partner Nikita Kuzmin, who scored a full house for their routine to Backstage Romance from Moulin Rouge! And this week, Strictly released its latest round of 'hidden mic' clips on social media - which reveals a different view of the dances.
The Italian dancer could be heard saying: "Ahh, look at her! That's my girl!" talking to one of the extra dancers. "I want her! Ohh, I'm in love with her," he then says. In character, Vito then could he heard asking for a kiss. He ended the dance thanking the extra dancers, saying: "Thank you. Thank you, girls. Thank you!"
