EuroMillions returned tonight with a life changing prize of £201m - and one lucky winner scooped the biggest jackpot prizes in the draw's history.

The huge National Lottery prize makes a lucky ticketholder as rich as Ed Sheeran or Rod Stewart - both of whom have an estimated fortune of £200 million.

Meanwhile, anyone matching five numbers plus one star will win £130,554.30, while just the main numbers by themselves has a £13,561.20 prize pot. The last biggest-ever jackpot in the UK saw Gloucestershire couple Joe and Jess Thwaite scoop £184million in 2022.

According to the National Lottery, there are as many as five winners of the second highest prize amount of £1,191,020.20.

To win the second prize, ticket holders would have to match all five main numbers plus one Lucky Star.

EuroMillions restricitions

Entrants to the transnational lottery must be at least 18 years old and buy their tickets in one of the nine European countries.

Though entrants must be in one of the countries, there is no restriction on the buyer's nationality. Non-residents are welcome to play as long as they meet the age requirement.

The draw takes place every Tuesday and Friday evening at 8pm. Players have to choose five main numbers from 1 to 50, along with two Lucky Stars between 1 and 12.

You can either pick the numbers yourself, purchase a Lucky Dip or use a random number generator to create an entry.

The jackpot begins at €17 million, which is different in Sterling depending on the exchange rate on draw day, and can increase up to a maximum value of €240 million.
