Piers Morgan breaks Twitter silence with crude Prince Harry tweet
Piers Morgan has broken his weeks long silence on Twitter to share a crude image referring to Prince Harry, as his highly anticipated interview with ITV News hit our screens on Sunday evening.
The Duke of Sussex sat down with presenter Tom Bradby for the exclusive interview, which came ahead of the release of his tell-all memoir Spare.
The memoir hits shelves on Tuesday, although the book leaked on Thursday when it was accidentally released in Spain five days early.
Yet as the Prince shared details of his acrimonious split from the Royal Family, TalkTV presenter Piers took to Twitter to criticise the Duke.
Piers posted an image alongside a simple emoji of a finger pointing downwards to it.
John Terry takes swipe at Piers Morgan after Arsenal fan issued Chelsea reminderThe crude picture attached was a web diagram of the small bird tits, with short bills and short legs, yet showing the Duke in the centre by the birds.
Billed under ‘Britain’s biggest tits’, including the blue tit and the bearded tit, the centre was a picture of Prince Harry’s face with the description of ‘colossal’ beneath it.
The Marmite TV presenter had yet to take to the social media platform this year, but appeared to be tuning into the 90-minute programme as he posted the crude picture as a programme aired.
At the end of the interview special, Piers again took to Twitter to give fans his final thoughts as he wrote: "Never seen an unhappier ‘happy man’ in my life.
"Prince Harry’s a bitter, delusional, paranoid, family-trashing halfwit exposing & exploiting the Royals’ most personal secrets for gazillions whilst wanging on with jaw-dropping hypocrisy about media intrusion. He’s pathetic."
Harry: The Interview saw the Prince go into depth and detail on his life in the Royal Family – and also saw him exchange awkward and fiery moments with interviewer and longtime friend Tom as they dissected the past decades.
Prince Harry’s interview was filmed in California, where the Duke of Sussex now lives with wife Meghan Markle and their two children.
In the interview, Harry stressed how much he still loves his family and always will.
He said: “Nothing of what I’ve done in this book or otherwise has ever been to any intention to harm them or hurt them.
“The truth is something that I need to rely on and after many, many years of lies being told about me and my family, there comes a point where – again, going back to the relationship between certain members of the family and the tabloid press, those certain members have decided to get in the bed with the devil, right?”
Arsenal put foot in it with Caicedo transfer with summer move in jeopardyHe then continued: “To rehabilitate their image. If you need to do that, or you want to do that, you choose to do that.
“Well that is a choice. That’s up to you. But the moment that that rehabilitation comes at the detriment of others, me, other members of my family, then that’s where I draw the line.”
