Taylor Swift 's cat has been enjoying the limelight since she posed with him on her cover for Time Magazine's Person of the Year.
But it isn't the first time one of Taylor's feline friends has enjoyed time in the spotlight. Taylor, 33, posed with her beloved ragdoll Benjamin Button strewn across her shoulders for the cover of the iconic glossy publication after insisting she bring the four-year-old puss along to her photoshoot when she was named Person of the Year.
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, Taylor joked with her fans about the cover as she wrote: "Time Magazine: We’d like to name you Person of the Yea-, Me: Can I bring my cat?" Taylor also owns two other very popular cats - Meredith Grey and Olivia Benson - with both enjoying illustrious careers in showbiz having appeared in music videos, adverts and even movies.

Missing cat who secretly lived in London Underground lured after scary ordealWhat may come as a surprise is that the moggy's are reportedly worth an estimated $100million (£79.7million) each. Their jaw dropping net worth was revealed earlier this year after a report from AllAboutCat.com valued them using a method based on potential social media earnings. The website wrote about one of the cats: "The Scottish Fold earned her fortune starring alongside her owner in several music videos, has crafted her own merchandise line, and has had cameos in many big-budget ads, including for the likes of Diet Coke and Ned Sneakers."
While Meredith and Benjamin weren't awarded a net worth by the site, their social media presence and partcularly Benjamin's new found level of fame can only see their value soaring too. Taylor first met Benjamin when she was working on the set of Me! with both of her other cats.
At the time she told him: "Hi honey, you're beautiful," noting to his handler "he's purring." Benjamin Button's handler replied: "He purrs a lot. He's a purr lot. He flops over on his back and gets belly rubs." Taylor then cheekily asked: "Can I have him?" To which his handler replied: "He is available."
The lovestruck singer immediately took him home, naming him after the fictional character Benjamin Button from Brad Pitt's 2008 movie. Taylor recollected their meeting saying: "I fell in love. She handed me this tiny cat and he just starts purring and... he looks at me like, 'You're my mom, and we're going to live together.' I looked at Brendon and he's like, 'You're going to get the cat aren't you?'."
Taylor then introduced him to her fans on Instagram a few days later uploading a picture of herself with him and writing: "And then there were three." Meanwhile Taylor's Scottish Folds Meredith Grey and Olivia Benson, have featured in her music videos Blank Space and Me! and even made their way to Hollywood appearing in Deadpool 2 with Ryan Reynolds wearing a t-shirt with the cats on emblazoned with the words "Olivia & Meredith Best Friends Purrrrr-Ever."
