I'm A Celeb's Josie Gibson in tears as Danielle vows to send message to her son

This Morning host Josie Gibson broke down in tears as Danielle Harold became the fifth celebrity to leave the jungle, as the EastEnders star promised to pass on a message of love and a hug to her five year old son.

Viewers have previously seen the 38 year old mum of one struggle to cope without her son, Reggie, which sparked concern that she may quit as she berated herself for leaving him for so long. But luckily, during Josie's lowest ebb, Danielle became a pillar of support for Josie and comforted her. So when it was announced that Danielle had been voted off the show, Josie knew that Danielle would fulfil her promise of telling Reggie that she loved him.

On leaving the camp and saying goodbye to the remaining celebrities, Danielle told Josie: "I've got your little one, okay, I promise you." And the presenter, who is now the last woman in the camp along with Sam Thompson, Nigel Farage, Tony Bellew and Marvin Humes, shouted out: "Tell him I love him, tell him I'll be out soon!"

Later as Danielle reached Ant and Dec after leaving camp, Josie was seen being comforted by her fellow remaining campmates as she sobbed over Danielle's exit and her son. Josie's struggle without her son will come to an end in a matter of days ahead of the much-anticipated final on Sunday December 10.

During her exit chat with hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, Danielle said as she watched Josie crying: "[Josie's] just missing her little one so much, but I said I'm going to give him a kiss and a squeeze." As Josie is the last female in the camp, the actress added: "My Josie, I'm rooting for her so much, she's so much stronger than she thinks... she's got this, I know she has." Last week, Josie was left uncontrollably crying as she told Danielle that she "shouldn't have ever left him [Reggie] this long."

In the emotional scenes, Josie added while crying in the toilet: "I just miss my little boy." Speaking in the Bush Telegraph, Josie then admitted:"Just had a little wobble. You just feel very guilty. I'll never leave him this long again, ever."

Reggie is currently in Australia enjoying his first trip to Australia as he awaits his mother's exit from the jungle. Her son will reportedly be the one to greet the presenter on the famous elimination bridge. Sporting a Team Josie t-shirt when he landed at Brisbane airport, Reggie said: 'I think that my mummy's going to win."

Josie's son, who is used to sleeping in his mother's bed every night, is with her best friend Mia Williams who has been looking after him during Josie's stint in the jungle. Mia told reporters: "He's coped really well considering she's been gone for a couple of weeks now. It's the longest they've been apart, it's obviously tough all around but he's been dealing with it well but it's tough for her you can see that. She is missing him but she's doing it for him - she wants him to see her on the TV."
