I'm A Celeb's Danielle Harold fights tears as she reunites with ex campmates

Danielle Harold was close to tears as she came out of the jungle and was reunited with some of her old campmates.

The former EastEnders actor, 31, screamed with delight on seeing Nella, Nick Pickard and Frankie Dettori. Frankie could be heard saying "you're out!" before she went over and saw First Dates star Fred Sirieix who picked her up off the ground. He then laughed and told her she still smelt of smoke from the campfire.

She then waved goodbye to her friends and headed up to her Suite in the JW Marriott hotel in Surfers Paradise, where no doubt she enjoyed a proper shower for the first time in three weeks. Danielle become the fifth contestant to be evicted from the I'm A Celebrity jungle on Thursday night.

Speaking to Ant and Dec afterwards, she said: "You forget you are on TV and just think you are camping with your mates." Talking about cooking and food and the tension about the meals, she said: "It was my funniest time, I would sit back and be like 'here we go'."

Danielle was shown playing around with Sam Thompson, who described her as being like a sister. She said: "He has literally become like a brother.

"I think we are both a bit crazy and a bit loud. When someone matches your energy like that, he just makes me laugh. I am so glad that this was my year. you know sometimes you're watching thinking 'I wouldn't want to be in there' but with them there was not one bad person in there, even Mr Farage."

Sam remains in the jungle alongside Josie Gibson, Nigel Farage, Tony Bellew and Marvin Humes. The King or Queen of the Jungle is set to be crowned on Sunday evening and Danielle is rooting for the Made in Chelsea star to win.

Sam is being supported by pal Pete Wicks, who has jetted to Australia to be there when the reality star leaves the jungle. Pete and Sam's girlfriend Zara McDermott have been hit with rumours they are having an affair – which the former The Only Way Is Essex star has slammed.

"Me and Zara find it quite funny," he told new! magazine when asked about the claims. "That's the problem with social media everyone's got an opinion. Sam is my brother, and Zara is a very good friend of mine. We just laugh about it." Pete, who has been best mates with Made in Chelsea's Sam since they met on Celebs Go Dating in 2018, then admitted that Zara is not his type and that he can't imagine a relationship between them ever working out. "I absolutely adore Zara, but she's not my cup of tea and I don't think she'd last five minutes."
