EastEnders lets slip who survives Christmas - and it's one of the seven victims

EastEnders fans are convinced the BBC soap has let slip who survives Christmas.

Bosses have now seemingly confirmed which seven men are at risk of dying this festive season - including Jack Branning, Keanu Taylor, Nish Panesar, Ravi Gulati, Phil Mitchell, Rocky Cotton and Dean Wicks - but some viewers are convinced that one has survived.

A new video posted on social media shows a day in the life of actress Balvinder Sopal. She is seen running fans through her day on set, including her early call time, and her time in make-up and also features a chat with one of her co-stars.

Eagle-eyed fans in the comments noticed that Navin Chowdhry - who plays Nish Panesar - featured heavily in the video posted on social media today, with some viewers convinced this must mean he is alive after Christmas and not the dead body.

However, other viewers are convinced posting this so close to Christmas is just a red herring whilst others say it was probably filmed a while ago and thus doesn't prove if Nish survives Christmas Day.

We know one person will die this Christmas in the Queen Vic in a shock twist. At the moment, the fatal cufflinks are currently with Phil Mitchell but soon there may be multiple pairs, leaving us guessing until the last minute.

Soap boss Chris Clenshaw teased what's to come: "You're going to be guessing right up until the very last moment. As we build through the autumn, stories come into play for each of The Six, building toward a big crescendo. And, while Phil currently has the cufflinks, keep your eyes peeled as they may not be the only pair come Christmas..."

The cufflinks were originally Nish's - but they were given to Rocky in a poker game, who quickly handed them over to Jack.

"I am aware that Nish is the number one contender to die at Christmas," he told us as he teased the scene, "I think the main clue is to follow the cufflinks. There's some stuff we filmed recently about the cufflinks so look out for that and follow the cufflinks."

Nish is currently a big possibility for the Christmas death, after getting rid of Suki's partner Eve. Horrified and confused where Eve has got to, Suki is yet to learn about the truth behind Eve's disappearance - and with Christmas on the way, it's likely it won't be long until she finds out. What will that mean for Nish if she hears the truth, is he at risk of being the Christmas body?
