'I shopped Mango’s best Christmas party pieces and need absolutely everything'
One shop I can always rely on for party pieces when December comes along is Mango - so with Christmas just around the corner, I hopped on the tube and headed to the Oxford Street store in search of festive pieces to brighten up my dull-looking wardrobe - and it’s safe to say I stepped into sparkly heaven.
From dazzling accessories to the dreamiest sequin outfits that are bound to turn heads throughout the festive season and beyond, I picked out my favourite pieces which you can also grab online to save you the dreaded stress of Christmas shopping.
Not only were there countless stunning festive pieces, but I spotted plenty of cosy winter coats too - including the viral TikTok fur-effect coat - and yes, it’s just as beautiful IRL.
So, whether you have your Christmas party coming up, or are after a new accessory to complete your festive look, here’s everything new-in at Mango which I fell head over heels for.
As soon as I stepped foot into Mango, this stunning silver Rhinestone Shoulder Bag caught my eye - some would say it was love at first sight. The chic bag is the perfect piece to pair with your Christmas fits this year - and it’s pretty roomy too, meaning you can fit your phone, keys and red lippy inside. These bags are the perfect festive accessory!Seeing as I already have a silver sparkly bag, I decided to go for this gorgeous black Rhinestone Velvet Bag which'll go perfectly with my LBD for Christmas Day - and it was slightly cheaper, priced at £35.99.
Now, although I went to seek out Mango's party pieces, I couldn't resist checking out the coats on offer too - and even spotted the stunning Fur-Effect Coat which has been all over my TikTok explore page.
The viral faux fur coat was in stock in plenty of sizes!The cosy coat looked just as stunning in person as it did on all the videos, boasting an expensive looking faux fur fabric and chic toggle button fastenings. While it's not the cheapest, retailing at £119.99, you can easily style this both in the winter layered with a chunky knit underneath, or during the springtime with a causal white tee and jeans.
For those of us who didn't manage to get our hands on the sell-out H&M sequin bow jacket or dress, fear not as we can still live out our bow fantasies with this cute long-sleeve knitted top for £45.99. I paired the top with these epic rhinestone detail jeans because if there's anytime to dress a little extra, it's of course Christmas.
This cute outfit would be perfect for Christmas DayLast but not least I just had to try on this beautiful Rhinestone Mini-Skirt which is part of the Jen Ceballos X Mango collection - and it's the ultimate party piece. Whilst it's pretty pricey, retailing at £120, it's definitely an item that can be worn time and time again - and can be paired with anything from a black Skims bodysuit to a chunky oversized knit and knee-high boots.
The mini skirt of my dreams!One thing I'd say is that it's pretty heavy, so if you're going away over the Christmas/New Year period, I wouldn't suggest packing it in your suitcase!
All in all, I'd say Mango is the my top pick when it comes to finding dreamy festive pieces - and you can shop everything I tried on online now.
