Sam Thompson fulfils his secret agent dream in tonight's chaotic Bushtucker Trial.

Taking on I'm A Celebrity's spy-themed 'No Time To Cry, Cry Harder' trial in Thursday night's episode, the former Made in Chelsea star almost leaves empty-handed. First look footage shows the moment Sam gets flustered and 'forgets the stars'.

As always, each star represents a meal for camp, and it appears Sam could well leave co-stars Josie Gibson, Nigel Farage, Marvin Humes, Danielle Harold and Tony Bellew hungry. In the challenge, Sam calls on his imaginative movie alter ego Merf as he navigates cramped tunnels while appearing to get electrocuted, similar to a trial given to Nella Rose.

"Remember the stars," Ant and Dec are seen screaming at Sam as he crawls past giant spiders attempting to escape the claustrophobic challenge. "No, the star," the reality TV star replied as Ant insisted, "you've got to go back and get the star, Merf."

His trial comes after Sam spilled the beans on what’s next for him and girlfriend Zara McDermott. The 31-year-old has been dating ex-Love Islander Zara, 26, since she slid into his DMs back in 2019. After briefly splitting in 2020 following a cheating scandal, the pair moved in together in 2021 and the rest it seems is history.

But although they are one of TV's strongest couples, Sam admitted he doesn't see them having kids any time soon. Confiding in campmate Josie during a candid chat in the jungle, he asked about her five-year-old son Reggie, who she shares with ex-boyfriend Terry. Giving her thoughts on being a single mum, TV presenter Josie said: "Everybody thinks you have a baby and your life is over. It was totally the opposite for me.

"Five years ago [I started hosting This Morning ]. It's such a good gig. I will say this, my career didn’t kick off until Reggie was a few months old." Sam asked if she had a plan and 38-year-old Josie replied: "Because I've always wanted to work for This Moring and I've always wanted to be a TV presenter, I feel like in my head, I feel I've sort of made it because I've got to where I've wanted to be."

Saying "that's what everyone looks for", Josie said: "It's a lovely place to be", before turning the question back on Sam and asking what he wants for the future. He replied: "I want to get to that stage, really Jose where you're at, where you're like, 'Do you know what? This is me'. On the subject of children, Josie told Sam: "You’re going to be the best dad as well." The reality star turned TV and podcast presenter revealed he felt under pressure to have kids as a lot of his friends were now doing it.

But the biggest factor in why he and Zara are holding off is her blossoming career – and at still only 26, she is in no rush to start a family. Since Love Island, Zara has had stints on various reality shows, including Made In Chelsea and Celebrity X Factor. Sam said: "My girlfriend – and I would never want to take this away from her – is doing so well. I know she doesn’t want to give that up. And she shouldn't have to. There will come a time where we'll both be like, 'Yeah, now's the time.' But I just don't think it's now."
